All hands on deck!! Fletchers Customs needs a hand!!

Well 24 days and counting till SEMA. We running on adrenaline and redbull around here. WE are going to paint this weekend and will be doing assembly over the next few weeks. This is a open invitation to anyone who would like to come down and help out with the Finishing of Ty's 1971 Freedom Bird. Experience with assembly, interior, paint finishing, electrical wiring, glass install, trim install, etc. Hell if your good at BS'ing and and being a wrench monkey we can use you to. I can help with your sleeping arrangements as I have my RV at the shop. And will supply some BBQ or Pizza on the weekends.

If your interested in helping out please contact me here or at [email protected]

Good luck to you guys

I actually went to Expedia and checked on flights... You know what? You can't get there from here!!! LOL

I really did go and try to figure out how to get there...

Boilermaker -- 10 / 20 hours of driving?? Google says 42 hours from Seattle... DUDE!! (invoking Spicolli here) it's friggin' 3,000 miles!!!

awr68 10-05-2009 09:12 PM

I have multiple conflicts on the weekend of the 18th. I think were looking at the the 25th / 26th. In relity it might btter if we come in closer to the end when al the real headaches surface. Lay a set of fresh eyes and ideas on it.

Or maybe your aLl done with your feet on the desk and do not need us!

fletcherscustoms 10-06-2009 12:17 PM

yeah getting here from the west coast is tough!!! You got to fly to two or three different places before ending up down here!!!

fleet 10-06-2009 01:26 PM

I commend you that despite slim pickins' from this board, you have not hired any illegal aliens...

fletcherscustoms 10-06-2009 01:27 PM

this is south GA, and there plentiful!! The thought has crossed my mind , lol

awr68 10-06-2009 01:29 PM

Props to Frank and Crew! Even if they aren't needed in the end, they came forward and are trying to schedule a time that works for all! I know I would want Team Prodigy on board!!

I am currently on military leave, so I could probably come down for a couple days to help out; that’s if Ty doesn’t mind an Army guy working on his car!

fletcherscustoms 10-06-2009 01:34 PM

if your serious let me know via email [email protected]

WE still could use anyone that wants to help!!!!

fesler 10-14-2009 06:03 PM

I hear you and hope everything goes as planned we feel your pain as we have 8 cars to finish in under 2.5 weeks. The SEMA rush is on and we are feeling it. Can’t wait for the dumb show to get here.

Good luck

fletcherscustoms 10-14-2009 07:03 PM

There are some things we won't get to complete like I wanted for SEMA. Like the full blown custom stereo and we won't be sorted out and ready for the Optima event unfortunately... But other than that she'll be done!

awr68 10-14-2009 09:44 PM

Would have been cool to see it at the Optima Challenge...but SEMA will work too!! :)

fletcherscustoms 10-15-2009 06:30 AM

She's close to running now minus exhaust, (which I'm working on something really nice and shiney for the Pypes booth!), and some other little stuff. It comes down prioritizing the two weeks WE have left now... spending time doing all that little stuff that can add up/eat up valuable time or spending time cutting and buffing the car to perfection and carefully installing the trim/chrome etc. I'm focused on the car looking great and being ready to put in the trailer just two weeks from today!!
