1969 Camaro carbon fiber deep tub front inner fenders!
This is it boys and girls. We have our prototype front inner fender wells that were stretched, smoothed and widened to allow a 10 inch wide rim (frame clearance allowing) to be run up front without issues. The inner fenders are coming in at a feather weight of 7.5 lbs each. It's like bolting on deep tubs that look like supercar jewelery. Pricing on these are $1250 per pair in CF and $2250 in 100% carbon.

I know surprises like this are nice, but why did you not tell me about these before, when I dropped by?? All kidding aside, maybe you did say they were in the works. Regardless, if I'd known/remembered about them, it would have saved us from cutting and modding our existing tubs.
Anyway, Dick seems very confident that we will find a sponsor for our Camaro for sema, I think Steve has even been enlisted to help. We all really hope that it goes, and if it does, we would love to have those on the car. They'd look right at home. We even have most of your other stuff to compliment it. Matt |
Crossed fingers for the 68. I WILL buy them.
|
Um....I'm starting to think I need an F-Body....

Nice looking product. Would look good on my '69 Firebird.
|
Killer pieces but I'm not up for ripping the front off my car right now. You would cry watching me cut a big circle out of it for the dry sump tank.

beautiful part. Glad to see someone making these. Any idea on weight savings?
Have you guys had a chance to test the wheel/tire sizing with a stock subframe yet? |
Quote:
the full carbon ones weigh 7 lbs each.. I think the stock ones are around 20 lbs.. so about 26 pounds saved for a pair (and more tire space). I hope they make them for a '68.. I was going to modify Penny's this summer, but would rather do this. |

I will gladly allow you to make a set for my 73 camaro. and I won't charge you a dime to give them to me.
(I know this is a deal for you, Im just that kind of guy) |
We have 1 set left, already sold the others. Who's going to get the last pair?
Tyler |
Gorgeous, and functional. How about the guys like me that want the extra space for the tires, but don't need the bling? Are you planning on making in a more budget friendly fiberglass or other config?

When will the full run start???

^^^^What Mark said. I would have to think you could sell a "no-bling" fiberglass version of these like hotcakes. |
They are all gone. We already put these into production and we should have some more sets in about a month +.
As far as a no bling option- We are a carbon fiber company; as such we are known for our high quality carbon muscle car parts and are going to continue that trend into multiple makes and models. I don't think we are ever going to switch materials on any of our product line. There are plenty of fiberglass companies out there that make fenders, hoods, doors, etc. We will let them do that stuff and we will stay in the higher end of exceptional carbon parts. Tyler |
Unfortunately I don't know of any wider than stock no-bling options. If you don't mind doing a little work yourself, they can be made to fit.

I guess a guy could always spray a flat clear like PPG flex n flat over the shiny stuff, just wondered if you guys had even considered it. Cool stuff for sure. Jody |
