new build , cuda for james brown
 

here is the current build in the shop , a cuda for james brown .
plans are for 500plus inch hemi , 5 speed , 9 in rear ,and a jakes rod shop c5 vette front . 19 front 20 rear .
the body is almost perfect , just a small amount of damage on the lh 1/4 panel and no rust ! we are looking at lowering the roof in the front about 1 in to take away the roof looking like it going up hill . we are working with jason rushforth now about other ideas in his bald head ( from shaving ) and my bald head ( because of hair loss and metal plates ).
not sure on color yet , because of the cars that are done already . no orange thanks to bob , silver is out because of sick fish , black i hate ,red is out because of that cuda that was at columbus last year .

ideas ?

How about Plum Purple or Lime Green with flat black stripes/emblems?

Same James Brown and he has about 8-10 other hot rods at any given time.

Cadillac pearl white with your color choice for stripes/accents/etc.

This will be a cool project. We to have one of these in our shop not to build but to build parts for so when you are ready let me know and we will work something out. We will have a lot of billet parts and interior parts for this car. Glad you are keep busy

I like the color, but Kenny is not allowed to paint anything else Brown for a while...They have completed three "rootbeer" brown cars in the last year. :lol:

Looks like things are back to normal somewhat Kenny, good to see another project come from you guys, even better a cuda. Whatever you decide (color, mods, etc.) I know its going to be killer. However I do like Rodgers idea.

as dennis ( sick65) said i have been cut off from brown , martys dads 57 = t5 brown , a 64 chevy post = brown and black 2 tone , a 32 ford 3 window = brown , and i have a 33 ford going t5 brown .
i also thought about orange but the last car i built him was orange ( photo below ). he likes the silver and blue color combo , but there was a cuda at sema 4 years ago that was silver and blue.
he has 2 other cars that are black so i dont want that .
i do like green's i have used green alot also in the past , a 32 roadster green and black ,a 55 post green and black , and a 65 malibu droptop greenish and black .

how about cream white with brown wheels, brown interior and brown drivetrain. maybe even a brown hemi hockey stripe.
(when I say brown.... i mean like an orangish brown... not crap brown)

I don't know about James Brown, but I can definitely see Kenny rocking a Pink car. With your collar "popped"... I can really see it!:thumbsup:

Side note Kenny, we are just completing production on a full chassis for the Challenger/Cuda if you are interested.

I like the idea of Lime Green and satin black, but I think Foose did one those colors on overhauling.

How about satin black car with gloss black "billboard" graphics.

Onc't hooked into a helluva Cuda ship fishin' down in Diego Garcia (IndiaN ocean BIOT). Sure 'nuff sliced up me gear in no time flat. Twas a soberin' experience to be sure ... :wow:

like mentioned above plum crazy purple or somewhere along the lines of it. You don't really see high end builds with a stock mopar color of that era.

Kenny look at B518P MIDNIGHT BLUE PEARL its a Honda color . It's the deepest blue I've ever seen . Almost Black. I would love to see a car with this color on it !!
