Greg, Your car looks awesome. I've always liked the look of downdraft Weber/Dellorto carburetors on a V8(I know you have fuel injection). Anyhow, beautiful engine bay.
|
Thanks Roger...
But I just deleted my post when the thread went from a "show me yours" to a post of "favorites"..... |
|
I don't own the car anymore, but I still love how the engine turned out!

Here's mine, still in progress. Should be finished Saturday :willy:
Greg, I missed the shot of your engine bay, and want to see it. if you post it up again, I'll resist the urge further turn this thread into a "post your favorites," by including an engine bay shot of Greening's 71 Camaro Matt |
Okay Matt --- Just for you....
With the 5" stacks... http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/DSC_4350.jpg With the 2 1/2" stacks.... http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/a...rtStack002.jpg |
An old pic of my 91' Camaros engine, still the same though...
Jason http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q...c/DSC02964.jpg With an extra set of valve covers, figured I'd see how it looked... I put the black covers back on.... http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q...c/DSC01370.jpg |
Not exactly pretty, but it's dead simple and easy to work on..and in need of cleaning and some touch up after a few thousand miles and a lot of time tweaking

This is a pic of the new DC shoes "kalis" camaro engine bay. It is a custom 408 with twin 66mm turbos. Pretty cool!

If you look at the last pic in your series - you'd swear those are speakers of either side of the engine.... I know they're the shock towers -- but at first glance they also look like speakers - with the black rubber around the cone - and a cool colored cone - and a tweeter in the middle... |

It is a pretty killer car for a "daily beater"!! EDIT: Greg beat me to the post. He must type faster! |
How about a new Hemi in a old Mopar?

Another "work in progress" but getting close to start up:

A few older shots. The last one isn't an engine bay, but is still a bad ass engine. 124 cu. in. to be exact. We can always appreciate an engine no mater what it's in.
