Mike,

This pic shows a sign stating "New Product". Do you have any details on that?

Thanks,

Mal

gearheads78 11-05-2009 12:12 PM

 Thanks for taking pics of stuff I want to see. Most of the pics I have seen so far cater to the Fast and Furious and Dub magazine crowd.

Also the 07 style black silverado, on 24s with the brushed finish lip, I HEARD that it's on all independant suspension and shockwaves. I want more specs on that too, I think ChoppinBlock built it.

They are releasing an interior package for 55-57 chevy's like the package for the Camaro. There is also some other cool stuff out here as well, but not sure it is all released. There is a new fiberglass front bumper for 69 Camaros that has been reprofiled for a tight smooth fit, radiator cap, and a few other gadgets

Musclerodz 11-05-2009 05:22 PM

More pics up

Aschle 11-05-2009 07:34 PM

Sweet! Thanks!
I thought it was a repro body like the Camaro, 55, & 57. Thought the 56 was finally going to get some love; but an interior package is cool too. One question, Who is "they"; which manufacturer?

Last of the pics are up. enjoy.

The detail Ring Bros gave to the falcon is just unreal. Everywhere there is custom CNC brackets etc. They are at the top of the game. Everyone else is playing for 2nd.

Just when you think they cant top their last build, they do it again. :hail:

I sorta have to dissagree great quality indeed, but all the machining and visor brackets etc. just looks like there tying to hard to me, just way busy i can appreciate all the great detail and little things most would not even notice but, the things that are way noticable like those flat black bumpers come on:rofl: and the engine is way busy looking aswell imo.

hellrace 11-08-2009 03:36 AM

The bumpers look to be carbon fiber. You're a tough critic, being as how you knocked the a few of Troys cars as well.

IMHO, the billet stuff is borderline overkill, but this is kind of a Showpiece. Not something I would want on my own car, but it is a Bad-Ass car for sure.

Maybe if we all started building 80's styled Pro Street cars everything would be good?

Congratulations to The Rings for another cool ride. :hail:

GregWeld 11-08-2009 09:51 AM

Anyone that says the Ring Brothers car is this, or that, or some other thing is wrong here or there...

If you weren't at SEMA and didn't see it in person.... you should probably just keep those thoughts to yourself... because to any car guy that has actually seen the car.... you just embarrassed yourself.

The quality of the build is near untouchable. Period. There's just really not much more anyone could say about this build. It belongs in a museum. It's too nice to drive!

skatinjay27 11-08-2009 11:11 AM

when it come to the ringbros built thier quality is bar none and they are some true artist... the fairlane was handdown the baddest car at the show!

I agree with you Greg, there's no way even the best pics ever do justice to a great build.

For those who haven't seen it, Kevin and Kelle did a nice job at the Afterburner unveiling going over the car with Mike Ring.

Mike said the same thing, he doesn't want to drive it and get a nick in the paint.

you mean the nice, snug fitting, flawless satin finish carbon fiber bumpers?
Yeah, totally cheezy.....
That car serves many functions, among them being a showcase for the abilities of the Ring Brothers as fabricators and parts manufacturers....and it does all of them well. I'm sure they didnt build it to please every wanna be or every person who has their own ideas. If you build a car to please the masses, you will never build a car like the Ring Brothers do.....and I'm glad they do it, it gives us all something to shoot for.

G-Body 11-08-2009 08:51 PM

Never any doubt in Rang Bros. quality i have a set of there hinges on my nova above and beyond quailty. And equally as nice of guys and girls that work there. But the Falcon just seems a little busy for my taste thats just my opion, On the other Hand im a huge fan of troys cars always have been since his first build!
I just didnt care for a few lil things that was done on a recent build but all and all just amazing stuff.
I think he is in a class of his own with the style of work and the thought process that goes into every car. If i was spending that kinda jack to have a build done it would be at that cool shop in ill.

It's an exacting replica for sale at Family Classic Cars in So. Cal. Still big money though, just not $12 million.

Marquez has made stamped custom interior panels for the 56 (tri-fives?) and 69 Camaro's.. . Brilliant idea and perfect execution. Bravo!
