Wide Body Camaro in GM booth

I doubt that they will make it, but it is the slickest 2010 Camaro that I have seen. Absolutely stunning!

I cannot get it small enough to post. Surely someone has a pic

Vegas69 11-06-2009 06:55 AM

Are you talking about the silver car? Hated it....:unibrow:

Which one is it? What color? I will be able to reduce the size to post pics, if you want.

I agree

camaro2nv 11-06-2009 09:59 AM

Cool for SEMA but a bit over the top.

rwhite692 11-06-2009 10:01 AM

can that fit through a standard garage door opening?

Flash68 11-06-2009 10:08 AM

Almost looks like they are trying to duplicate the MB CLK63 Black Series..

BritishGreen68 11-06-2009 10:21 AM

for how crazy the flares are they lost it on the wheels.. those look like something you would see on a honda civic. It needs something with about 5 inches of lip..

That's exactly what I was thinking!

chr2002ca 11-06-2009 10:35 AM

I'd say the caramel-colored widebody seen at this link starting about 6 pics down is a much better implementation:

Fender flares blend much better. Not sure about those red inserts in the interior though. Those look really out of place.

Exactly

Vegas69 11-06-2009 10:49 AM

It was worse in person I thought. I saw some junk in the paint as well.

Ketzer 11-06-2009 10:54 AM

Exactly what is wrong with the Batmobile? I suppose you don't like Skynard, either? Jeeze! some people.:beavis:

buickfunnycar.com 11-06-2009 11:12 AM

I think I could actually do better with some plywood and a gallon of bondo...:_paranoid

89 RS 11-06-2009 11:29 AM

Creative, but not my style. Looks too much like The Fast and The Furious.

ccracin 11-06-2009 11:29 AM

Yeah..... and I liked the Batmobile too!:D It's meant to get your attention and that it does. Different Strokes..............

ElkyZO6 11-06-2009 01:10 PM

That is so ugly.

From a quick look I kinda liked the carmel one, not 100% would really have to see it live (it would also need insane HP to be legit) and look at it more.

That is my buddies shop that built that car. Cound Choice Audio and performace out of Grand Island NY. They been in business for about 12 or 13 years. This is their fourth GM sponsored build winning GM design awards that past three builds.
Anyway the car is a twin turbo V6. 16" front rotors, 6 piston calipers, pedders suspension, I forged wheels, custom widebody, Seibon carbon hood and trunk lid, massive audio, and a few other things.
There still issues with all of the direct injection motors. It is fuel deprived and unlike just swapping out injectors, there is no current way to get more fuel into the combustion chamber. There is also still no one that has cracked the V6 ECU. Not even the Leno car. I'd say that should be taken care of withing the next six months. With a collaboration between a few companies sharing their info.

spaghettio 11-06-2009 05:38 PM

that carmel one is sickkkk.

G-Body 11-06-2009 08:19 PM

NICE  You kidding right! Am i being punked?
Sucks in so many ways.....

BlackenedRR 11-06-2009 11:03 PM

Thanks, I appreciate the info!!

Wow the 2010 Camaro is king at sema! So much work has gone into each one of those cars... Just amazing! They may not be your style, but they are all big accomplishments!

tony byram 11-07-2009 02:13 AM

Not my cup of tea, way, way overdone to each his own. Liked Lenos car Alot more. Although it looked like some one put heat registers in the hood....

Those are some nice cars . I saw a lot I liked but parts from different cars. Does anyone know if any of the orange cars are the factory color? I've never seen the orange in person.
