The Mule or Motion Camaro.

Just a thought, I know there is a huge difference in the builds, but, If you had a choice, which would you have?

To quote Dirty Harry, "I gots to know" :D

First vote for The Mule. The original Bad ass mutha.

Steve Chryssos 11-09-2005 06:13 PM

XcYZ 11-09-2005 06:14 PM

Jim, you should have made this thread with a poll.

Big Red :_paranoid

Mule  It's better looking in every concievable way, and probably performs better too :) (and there's only ONE Mule)

My bad Scott...I figure this way every one at least can elaborate to some degree.

slck6t9 11-09-2005 06:37 PM

Mule for functionality. But I sure do like the motor on the Motion car.

It(The Motion Camaro) has a wicked Gas pedal too. Check it out.

Stu, you are a trouble maker. :D

Steve Chryssos 11-09-2005 06:50 PM

no cheating.

zbugger 11-09-2005 06:58 PM

I'd take the mule because it's a much simpler looking car. The motion camaro is incredible, but damn..... Look at that price tag. The interior makes it feel overdone, as do the wheels. The mule just looks well put together. That's what I say, and I'm sticking to it. Till I change my mind....

RussMS 11-09-2005 06:58 PM

Mule

Reckley 11-09-2005 07:00 PM

The Mule no question. The Motion is way over done. It reminded me of a street rod. I really don't like when classic muscle car sheet metal is modified that much.

MODO Innovations 11-09-2005 07:03 PM

mule..hands Down, Up,and Or Sideways

OK, if I must pick between them two, the Mule. Not even close. The motion car needs major sorting out in my opinion. Great red paint color though.

If they made the changes we all know they need , then maybe just maybe I would reconsider.

Still think the Black stang was Best there for my taste, etc. Looked like it handled well and was fun to drive. That is another topic, sorry.

PS, I could not believe how beautiful Impressions was, best car as far as being perfect craftsmanship I've ever seen, WOW.

clill 11-09-2005 07:24 PM

Gee thanks guys.. except for Chryssos :D ..Now is there a fish out there wanting to give me 427K for the Mule ?

Steve Chryssos 11-09-2005 07:27 PM

The Motion car is not exactly "fly by night". The Motion car is built by Time Machines. They've built some great cars.
So with the Motion SuperCoupe, I see a full tube chassis, 4 wheel independent suspension and other attributes that take the car to another level.

jack67rs 11-09-2005 07:34 PM

Motion is a little too far over the top for my tastes, would be interested how that thing tears up the pavement before I would make any decisions!

Autokraft 11-09-2005 07:36 PM

Well lets put it this way, until the Motion car has proved it can max out a chassis dyno at 200mph then I would have to say the Mule gets the nod. :hail:

LOL!!!!!!!!

El Mule would have to get my vote.

Datsbad 11-09-2005 08:18 PM

MULE for sure , Motion is a little to overdone to me .

XcYZ 11-09-2005 08:23 PM

I'd need a ride in the Motion car to weigh my decision.

427 11-09-2005 08:23 PM

Mule! No question....(The 200mph thing does it for me)

Everything he said.
Id take Big Red, but the Mule is a close second.

Cars

All BS set aside, the Mule inspired me to pro-touring. When I first saw a picture of it in front of Charley's house it looked so cool. 427 K would be worth it if the hood was remote controlled, LOL. You couldn't sell it and you know it, go fly your new Chevy, airport is close by!!

PS, make sure your flight physical is up to date, vision included!!!!!!!!!!

USAZR1 11-09-2005 09:02 PM

The Mule is cool but being the former owner of a Motion Performance 69 Nova, you know where my heart's at.

Cars

I will say this " the old Motion Supercars are the baddest and my all time favorite Supercars" no question. Mark Hassetts 68 , Steves old 69 and Kevin S yellow 69 are AWESOME. :hail:

Mean 69 11-09-2005 09:16 PM

Two different cars. El Mule, which I love (but would still do things differently in the rear suspension, shameless plug), is one man's vision as to what a special car should be. Mark did an amazing job, and my vote is for that car, over the other. Function, subtle elegance, and enough business to stand apart.

The other, as pretty as it is, and it is one bitchin machine, wasn't one person's vision. It had a young illustrator, several folks with lots of money, and too many ideas trying to fit into one package, it just didn't work in my opinion. Not to say that SEVERAL elements completely blew me away, but the end effect looked a bit off to me. I still loved it, but in the world of the "look at me" cars, there were several at SEMA that outdid this car, at least in my opinion.

My vote? Lateral Dynamics "Lateral II," which, of course, isn't built yet. I'd take the Mule, and drive the poop out of it, which is what it wants. Bring extra tires, and brake pads.

Motion all the way :morepower

TravisB 11-10-2005 09:47 AM

I have not seen either car in person.....

These are my thoughts from pics

The motion car is nice ahs a lot of things that are real cool and a few things that look like an after thought but an all around cool car that defines the name motion....

The mule also a nice car, how could you not like the powertrain....however if it was sitting in a parking lot next to 4 other camaros at a car show would you go up and look at it?????? maybe, maybe not

The motion car has the wow factor

The Mule has the clean look

I will have to vote for the motion car!

Musclerodz 11-10-2005 10:27 AM

I agree with Mark. "Mule" is a well designed vehicle and follows fit, form and function. I also think the Motion Camaro has too many eggs in one basket. I realize Motion cars have been over the top but this one tops them all.

Mike

Kris Horton 11-10-2005 10:50 AM

Funny enough, if I had to pick, I'd probably want the Mule. I enjoy simple and clean.

The Motion Camaro was designed mostly to appeal to those who are into the old Motion cars. They were over the top, gaudy, but fast as hell.

The Mule and the Motion car are on completely different levels I think. The Mule is all about function and is packed in a clean package. The Motion Camaro is about staying true to past offerings, while fitting into the current market.

I like em both. :)

Kris

I think the mule for sure. Mainly because of its power and stance. If it had a different set of wheels say iForged or HRE or something like that then it would surely be the better car even at a car show.

All in all both cars are awesome.

Ricochet 11-10-2005 11:23 AM

Hmmm...Let me think about this..

Depends on what you want to do with the car. If you want a car that would dominate at shows and drive from time to time, or a car that you can and would want to beat the snot out of. With that said. Me personally, I would say the Mule. What it comes down to it, it is pure function and as we know, very well executed. The Motion car is a work of art. The imagination, craftsmanship is unbelievable. I still can't get the picture of the rear quaters out of my head. Metalwork was pheonomenal. A few minor things I would change, but we are all critics, right?

Now let's stir it up alittle...

It's kind of like comparing the Johnson Cuda and the Ring Bros. Mustang. The Cuda is a work of art and kicks your ass just looking at it. But at $750,000 would you really want to beat the snot out of it. Where as the Mustang, still not cheap at $200K, IMO is more functional & most can relate to easier.

I have to agree, the wheels are a little bland for my taste.

Hey Charlie, let's put some bling on the Mule. I saw some killer 26" wheels with spiners at SEMA that would look killer on it! :D
