BMR Tourqe Link install!
10 Attachment(s)
So I spent the last two days putting in my BMR Torqe Link rear suspension. The kit looks real good Im totaly happy with it. The kit was all there and the instructions were great. It took about 12 hours total with the help of a friend.
The ajustment on this system looks great as well. I cant wait to drive this car and try it out. |
Looks good! What subframe are you running?
|
I see you're a fan of the color orange :) It looks great under there. Let us know how it is once you get out there and drive it.

Thanks
I'm running the stock sub frame with DSE and Speedtech coil over's and a-arms. Also a Unisteer rack. It's comming together. The engine and trans are going in next. |
Good use of the Army poncho!
It looks great! When do you plan on having it on the road? |
thanks
My goal is to have it running by spring. I don't think I will have the interior done by then but everything else should be ready. I will work on interior and tuning over the summer. I hope to have it completed in a year from now. |
I'm really curious, how low does the torque arm hang---for instance--is it lower than the stock frame rails? I really like the way it looks from the back--like a lat dynamics 3 link---very cool.
Will also be interested how the exhaust works its way through there-- Doug |

It seems to be sitting up a little higher than the front subframe rails but does drop lower as it goes back to the rear diff. Maybe this picture will give you a better look. here's a link with a little more info on the car.

Thanks for posting up the pics---and the info!! Looking forward to seeing it come together!

Are the lower bars adjustable---it looks like they have an adjusting nut on them---
|
Thats right the lower bars can be adjusted. You can adjust the diff back and forward, up and down as well as side to side. It might take a bit of fine tuning but I should be able to find the sweet spot.
|
Great---thanks!! Last question---did you weld up any of it, or was it truly a "bolt on" deal? Please keep pics coming--especially when driveshaft is in and the exhaust goes on as well---would love to see what it all looks like when done.
Doug |
It's 100% bolt in no welding at all. I will keep you up to date as things progress. The drive shaft is on its way from Kiesler with the T56 magnum. I will post pic's of that install soon. The exhaust on the other hand might be awhile. I'm going to take it in to a local shop and get something custom done up.

I looked at the thread you posted and my question is if you mini tubbed and run a full tank what is the widest tire you can fit underneath there??
