I was going to say...that yellow ones looks familiar. Are you curious on how high it will fetch? pretty exciting. I can't believe Ian is selling his dream car?!? Vin
|
That was fast,I wonder what it will bring this time around.
|
Isn't that Stuart's car?? Why is he selling it?

Is the black one the overhauling car????
Should be cool to watch! Tim |
wow!! My likey the yellow ;)
|
I am really interested to see what the hot-rods/G-machines/Pro-touring cars go for. I have always viewed B-J as very much a restoration/documented factory cars showplace.
I feel like normally a well documented Z or SS with some rare options would overshadow the nice customs. So we will see if the trends change. Tim-Yes I posted twice in 15 minutes- |
I didn't realize they were all no reserve auctions....I would think that might be scary at times...although the pockets do seem pretty deep there.

I have no idea how Barett Jackson operates but I assume the seller sets the minimum bid.
|
ALL cars at B-J are NO reserve. The seller hopes all the deep pocket guys bid against each other, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.
|
i want to see what the " loaded " pickup brings

Can't wait to see all the cars in person! |
That car's switched back and forth into more board members hands than I care to count. It would be cool if one of the previous owners was able to pick it up again. :)

Car
Wow, should be cool watching that yellow beast go across. It should do well there.
|
Very Cool. Three owners on one site.

Love that car.. |

Remember.. you need to have ONE guy that wants your car.. you need TWO guys that want your car.. lol Sort of a gamble for the Baldwin and Unique cars.. if they do badly then what does that fortell of thier future sales sucess? hmmm.. If this is the BJ in Arizona I will be trying to go this year.. |
WOW!! That didn't take long to back on the block. I wonder why he is selling it? Too much car?? That car is like the most popular girl in High School..Really gets around!! :D

My bet is the Foose Camaro doesn't bring the $200,000 they want for it. The Black 69 is awesome. Don't care for the tall hood, but the rest of the car is awesome. I know..I know..everybody is a critic.. No doubt some high dollar stuff rolling through this year...Six Shooter Cuda should bring some serious coin. I know Charlie really likes that Roadster Pickup. That truck is unbelieveable. Truely have to see it to appreciate it. Maybe it will get a new home in Calif? :D Not sure if B-J changed it, but last year everything went with no reserve. Not sure if I could do that or not? ? |

I guessing $500K, very innovating. That cars is to street rod what Bob Johnson's Cuda is to the muscle cars. |
I caught a Barret Jackson show and Craig Jackson stated that there were so many cars that want to be in the televised auction that "No Reserve" cars outnumbered the "Reserve" cars 3 to 1, thus all "NR" cars. Plus it never hurts BJ to have all "NR" cars...they get paid on every car there.
|
i dont see the street rod roadster pick-up bringin huge bank, not at B-J anyway, year after year i watch the street rods goin through, and very seldom do they bring huge amounts. i think this has more to do with B-J tayloring more to "collectors" who are more interested in the purchases as an investment, more than because they like it.
BUT...it only take 2 bidders with the bankroll to skyrocket the selling price if they both want it bad enough...so we will just have to wait and see. |

i dont think royce will let it sell for anything less than 250 .he will buy it back !thats what happened to bob johnsons woody last year . we took a vette out last year ,but that euro anouncer (allan decidany sp? ) is a freaking idiot on hot rods and streetrods ,it had a pontiac rocket block ( race version of a small block chevy )with cantedvalve heads ,crank trigger , all alluminum rear axle, shavers leather interrior .he described the car as a " odd olds powered corvette " but it still brought decent money . |

I'd still like to think that there will be changes made to the coupe before it's released to the public. |

I thought SAM's was selling the Orange Camaro? If it goes at BJ it will bring more than 200K just because it is the first one, and Unique has set some record with each car they have taken there.
I would expect the Unique convert to be absolute top notch above anything else they build since it was for Dupont of Dupont Registry. Mike |
you guys that saw the foose vert think it was nice ? hell i must build some good cars myself . maybe i should give myself a pat on the back . i have alot of pics of that car with all the imperfections . did anyone see how the tailights fitted and the back body panel to the quarters . or how about the terrible stitching on the seats . but like brent said , my opinion so it probably does not matter
|
I always go the show, this one has definetly got more of a pro-touring theme than last years. Last year an average copper colored 69 camaro got 75,000 and a gold chevelle with big wheels and a crate motor went for around 65,000. It will be interesting what this years batch will bring!!
