New guy from Livermore Ca. (70' Chevelle)

My name is Nick, I live in Livermore Ca. (Northern Ca.). My first car was a 70' Chevelle. Basic young kid story of playing with a muscle car every day after school and on the weekends. Loved it, but found myself into trouble street racing and the car ended up in a million pieces from big idea's of a full race car but never even came close to finishing it. It now sits in my fathers garage , hope's of one day having my first car back on the road never happened.

I am married and have 3 kids and really been wanting another Chevelle for a nice cruiser for the family. I found this 70' Chevelle for sale a couple months ago and purchased it. :woot:

Details:
47k miles
307 all stock
20" Coys Wheels polished
255/35r20 front
275/40r20 rear

Car was painted about 2 months ago and it's not my first choice of color
but it really looked pretty nice after seeing it and it will hold me over till I am ready to do what I want for paint after I tackle some other parts of the car. Over all I am happy, it's not a 100% perfect car but I am OK with that as I can go at my own pace but still enjoy it with my wife and kids.

And here I feel is the best part, my kids (1 is missing as she is alittle older and doesn't like pics) This is something we can all jump in and take out on the weekend for lunch or just drive around on a sunny day.

Then he is the one responsible for taking my money and doing this to my Truck. This guy does amazing builds on trucks. Mine is very conservitive compared to what he does.
I just know Roger going to show up with his tag line.

yes, he's very talented. I met him in September. I sold my twin turbo Duramax to a guy in Texas, and he had me drop the truck off at Nicks shop to do some suspension and wheel/tire changes before shipping it to Texas.

Wecome Nick! That is one GREAT looking Chevelle! My cousin bought one new in Jan of 70, silver with a black vinyl top too! Had the 396 in it,man that car was a blast to drive! Looks like you and the kids are having alot of fun too, judging by the big smiles on those faces! Just doesnt get any better!

Nick.V70 11-28-2009 09:05 AM

Jody and Jason are the famous guys...your damn cars are so freakin bad I don't even know where to start looking at them:hail:.

Jody- Thanks for pointing me in this site direction  Alot of great looking cars!! Looks like the style of cars i want mine to be one day.

Jason- WOW... you know how many times I almost called you. My wife even said at one point "Remember Jason with the black truck and how he had a friend with that one 70 Chevelle that wanted to sell it". If I had the room I would have bought that car. You see what I ended up with here, I can build at my own pace and that was the main thing I needed for myself.

Your truck is bad ass and you know it. Everyone loved it when it was done for the reason it wasn't a flashy black truck with lime green under it:lol: Its clean and perfect:thumbsup:

Yes Dre finally had here Burb lifted up like she wanted. You need to stop by the new shop some time and check it out, alot has changed big time around here.

So I here we have some friends of friends in common. I had one of your buddy's Jeeps on my hauler to SEMA this year. Rodger, think he is on here also.

I hope, right now it's pretty much as I picked her up as so I don't want to be sporting someone else's car;) but by the time GG's rolls around she should look somewhat different. I plan on doing a color change at the end of the summer over winter. Till then doing all the other mod's and changes to make sure things fit and been test drove:thumbsup:

Thanks!!

It was either this or a Harley... 3 kids ... Harley can wait for me and mom later in life, the kids can join the fun now with this car. I grew up working on cars and I want my kids to have the choice also:)
