Tragic day - Four Lakewood police officers shot and killed in 'ambush'
 

Prayers go out to the family and friends of the four officers killed in Lakewood, Washington.

Wow what is the world coming to. It wasn't too long ago we went through the same thing in Oakland California.

As an Officer I followed the Oakland incident very closely. Hoped there wouldn't be another.

That is a shame. Crazy world. Only seems to get worse too.:(

I was just in Seattle a week ago and there is some strange people there specially during this time of year when its raining 24/7.

right in our back yard- less than 10 miles away...people are stunned- still waiting the release of the names. It just doesn't make sense- Chris

I posted this as well. I did not see where someone else had done so already. I do agree this is a tragedy. The people who have done this need to be shot on sight.

A person of interest has been identified and they are searching for him now. They said he knows they are looking for him, that he is armed and very dangerous. I hope justice is served quickly when they catch the person responsible. These officers are leaving a total of 9 children behind. 3 men and one woman officers.

This is the second event like this in the last 4 weeks in this area. There was a Seattle officer killed on Halloween night while sitting in his squad car with a trainee. That guy got caught a few days later.

the suspect lives in Parkland and is at large in that area right now.

As a student in Law Enforcement and having a wife who is a police officer this is something that I have been following very closely, it saddens me and my heart goes out to each family member of the four fallen officers.

This chapter has come to an end.

Let the healing begin.
