Wow It's Snowing its Ass Off!!!

For all of us in the North East be careful out there...over a foot of snow so far and 6 more hours of it to go.:willy:

I can't even go in the garage, too damn cold.

I hate winter,

Matt

70rs 12-19-2009 09:52 AM

Spiffav8 12-19-2009 09:59 AM

tones2SS 12-19-2009 11:42 AM

We're supposed to get anywhere between 8-10 inches tonight into tomorrow morning!! I HATE THE WINTER!!!! lol:mad: :(

gearheads78 12-19-2009 11:48 AM

Just watching the news on this.... wow! Living with a little bit of rain just doesn't seem so bad right now! LOL

waynieZ 12-19-2009 03:13 PM

I live in the blizzard zone in SE.Mass. 15"+ . God bless my 4X4. My daughter is flying out of Boston for Ca. tomorrow, to go home. She hopes!

bigtyme1 12-19-2009 03:29 PM

In PA we got about 16 so far with more to come through the night. So what do you thing I have been doing all day?

MattG 12-19-2009 03:33 PM

I have to say, my 4x4 Toyota 4 Runner is a the best vehicle in the world right now...Camaro not so much.

Over 20" of snow now and no sign of letting up, oh well, at least I didn't have to go to work.

I texted Mark earlier and he said they were at 18" and still snowing. Also roof load was geting scary so keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sunkistcamaro 12-19-2009 09:40 PM

We only got about 6" so far, the news is saying were going to get up to 16".
I pulled the quad out of the shed at 9pm to put it in the garage.
Imagine my surprise when I couldn't find my key fob to work the winch for the plow....
I just finished figuring out how to wire it to work by a switch.
I would have hated to shovel all that!

Hdesign 12-20-2009 06:04 AM

I'm surprised, we only have about 4-5 inches and it should be winding down around noon we heard. The South Shore and Cape are still getting hammered. Totals down there will be in the 16-20" range.

On an uplifting note we'll be getting a beautiful, wet, gray Christmas it looks like with plenty of rain by the end of the week. I really love it up here.

MODO Innovations 12-20-2009 06:05 AM

Mark said they ended up in the 20s and that the storm is over for them. Now for the fun part...getting rid of it.

tones2SS 12-20-2009 09:10 AM

Well, it started snowing here in MA about 10:30 PM last night and it is still snowing. We easily got about 10-12 inches of snow here already.:willy:
Gotta love this New England weather!!! (Actually, I HATE it!!) lol:rofl:

Right there with you bro. BTW, turned in your art on the car. Don't know when it'll run, but I think soon.

Hey Greg. Yeah, we still have heat and power and all that. Thank God!! Can't be without my pc and Playstation 3!! lol:willy:
You can see the branches of trees and wires hanging a little lower than normal because of the snow weight, even though it's a real fluffy snow. But, get enough of it built up and it gets heavy. (Did I ever mention how much I hate this New England weather?!? lol:captain:)

awr68 12-20-2009 09:54 PM

Be safe guys!
Just have a lot of rain over here! :captain:

XcYZ 12-21-2009 05:50 AM

Apparently someone didn't get the memo about man made global warming.

That's a lot of snow!

18 inches with 2 foot drifts in VA on Friday night and no sight of plow trucks yet!!

69MyWay 12-21-2009 07:46 AM

Got a little piece of this over the weekend - Yesterday I fired up my son's go-kart and set him up for some donuts in the drive. It was all going well and fine...until he drifted out and nailed the shop garage door. Pushed it in about 8" - no injury - no issue there...

Went in the shop (the bay the project Vette is in) and kicked it back out. Didn't even try to open it. DOH!

Uh...we shut the go-kart off and resorted to an old fashion snow-ball fight!

LOL!

  That is hysterical! Good memories were made - to heck with the damage... now when you look at the "mark" it will put a smile on your face and his too!

Way to go!:woot:

I think there's something in the Bible about that, but it doesn't turn out well.
