2009 hopefully the worst year ever!!
 

wow that hopfully the worst year ever:mad: .just one thing after another went form my wife wanting a divorce to getting throw in jail having my truck forfited to the county for somthing that i did not even do.the motor in my snowmobile blowing up,taking a 4.50 an hr.pay cut,my pension has been hammered lost over 400% of it's value,my retirement age just got bumped from 55 to 65.the water heater just went out in the house,bought another motor for my sled and got screwed the motor now I have two motors that are doa.my best friend and neighbor for 16 years died,the supercharger on the belair blew up.my house got pounded with golfball sized hail as well as my wifes van,and one of my next projects my 73 cuda stored with no insurence. it seems like everytime I have turned around this year I have been kicked in the nuts then when I go to get up I get kicked again. I am normaly not one to complain but holly sh!t how much can a guy take. I hope that was the worst year ever and I can honestly say that I am blessed to have such a great family and me and my wife have worked thing out and are getting along better than ever.still have more lawyer fees and court to go through.I hope none of you had such a bad year and I hope all of you have a great new year and god bless all of you!;)

2009 was a waste for a lot of us in many ways. Not to make light of your year at all Eric, just saying that I can relate and am also hoping for a better 2010. :cheers:

For starters, you now have that garage youv'e been wanting.

went out in the shop today and started a new project with my youngest boy. like I needed to start anymore but this is going to be awsome.it is a schwinn stingray chopper bike he has got a great imagination and wants to bring it to some shows so we started rounding up some parts for it and just started on the temp stand and he wanted to make a journal of the build up.nomater how bad life can get this is the greatest thing in the world when your kid shows such intrest in doing somthing that you love to do can't wait to get this new project rolling. awsome day today! I will post up some picts in a next couple days.:thumbsup: :D

Being a father of two, moments like that are priceless. When I've had a crappy day & I walk in the door & my 7yr old daughter runs over & gives daddy a huge hug it's all better. Use those memories to carry you through it all.:thumbsup: :lateral:

:rofl: LOL.that funny stuff I am a country fan of the rocking kind but man there are some pretty sad songs that people choose to sing about. thanks for the support and the lol.

Hopefully 2010 is a better one for you, just keep your chin up, and keep in mind that there are many folks out there dealing with far, -and I mean far- worse things than divorce, hail damage, and a blown snowmobile motor.

What do you complain about? I don't even have a girl, or a car to work on, no free time, prep school sucks, I have to make my military service, my parents aren't supportive enough, I have to do everything in this house because everyone else is totally useless, but I'm the black sheep ''who does nothing'', but I'm the most active member of this family, I also work with my father and he gives nothing to me, no even thanks or something like that, luckily my parents love me enough to not kick me out of the house, but they know they make me feel like I'm ****, when I do more than what they ever wish they could do.

I really don't think Eric was trying to say he is any worse off than any of the rest of us. Just that it was not a great year and hopes 2010 is better. Like a lot of us are hoping too.
I am sorry your situation is not so good/fun either. I think many of us here can agree that we all want a better year this time around. Hope yours is better too.:cheers:

just want to clarify I am not looking for sympathy from anyone here.that's just not me.I was just stating that year sucked and not just for me and I know that it can always get worse, and there are lots of people with more and bigger problems than mine.like I said in my post that I still feel blessed to have a job,a family and I wish a better year for EVERYONE not just me.hope more people do not read this the wrong way. just sayin.GOD BLESS EVERYONE and hopefully 2010 is better for all.:thumbsup:

For what it's worth Eric -- I read it the way you wrote it... that it was a bad year - but getting better etc...
