You aren't by chance an avid follower of Top Gear, are you? They are always going on about the Greatest____... in the entire world, this, or the best___...in the entire universe, that. Just wondering. Figured you might be a "Clarksonista."

lol.
the induction setup design is killer on that car though! |
Morelike mother of all core support closeout panels in the Universe

Nice functional piece. I like it.

Looks like a mini-cowl. But the whole point of a closeout is to keep the air pressure on that side of the radiator, this may cause some heat recirculation issues. It does look pretty damn cool though

That one is very cool, but I think that this one is the baddest (and lightest) closeout panel in the universe:

Can anyone explain to me why they put that huge bend in the intake tube instead of just coming right up and into the engine? I'm thinking it is just for looks but didn't want to assume. DSE does great work and I love all their pictures.
|
wssix go to the dse site its the kyle bush car and look at the whole breather system for the car 'and you'll see the bend has a purpose it is really slick. now if we can just get the classified pics of stuarts car dam lol. i bet its over the top.

Ok I found a side shot that showed the throttle body was actually further forward of the filters. So coming straight up and into the TB wouldn't have worked. I didn't see that shot before and couldn't tell that the TB was so far forward. It just looked like wasted work to have that bend in there from the angles I saw.
Thanks |
