See this is what I like about the car hobby, where else can you be driving down the road and be motioned to pull over(other than by a cop) and you do just to talk and take pics with a stranger about your car.

Great pics:thumbsup:

EddDeeEye 01-18-2010 08:11 AM

Both beautiful cars, but I'm kinda partial to the '69 myself

Vegas69 01-18-2010 08:53 AM

Your car looks sick!

Tom.A 01-18-2010 09:12 AM

Great stance on your car. Looks great.

Karl Buchka 01-18-2010 09:47 AM

Which one is which? :willy:

buickfunnycar.com 01-18-2010 10:09 AM

No competition...your car blows away that "other" car.

Roger M 01-18-2010 10:15 AM

The new Car doesn't have the 'soul' or 'character' that yours shows. No contest.

Very nice looking Car:thumbsup:

cdushane 01-18-2010 10:43 AM

Looks very cool but you just cant beat a 69', IMO. Are there any more pictures/info of your car on this site? I have a 69 that's black with white stripes as well and I didnt think the black center wheels would look good but after seeing yours I think its a GREAT look!

The easiest way to beat a 69 is to own a 67.

tones2SS 01-18-2010 11:44 AM

Nice cars.
But, Doug, you know my answer as to which one I'd rather have!!:unibrow:

70rs 01-18-2010 12:40 PM

I like yours better. But still cool to see them side by side.

Ricochet 01-19-2010 07:58 AM

Cool pics!! Defintely a no brainer for me which I would like. Your car looks killer!

Northeast Rod Run 01-19-2010 07:33 PM

if the other one was dropped it would have helped, but still no comparison

chr2002ca 01-19-2010 09:42 PM

Doug, your car looks as stunning as ever. Can't wait to meet up with you at the upcoming SoCal events in the spring. I hope all your modifications these past few months have been going smoothly.

Jay, thanks for the compliments! The wheels are from Rushforth, they are the Super Spoke model in a 19 and 20 combo with a matte black finish on the centers. I purchased from Drivers Inc here in So Cal.

Wow---thanks for the all the compliments guys---wasn't expecting that at all, but am greatful you expressed all of those---except my step brother Todd of course . You know when it is your car, you see nothing but all the flaws and the disapointing things you want to change? Well, perhaps not everyone is like that, but I tend to be that way with my stuff only---funny, I never look at someone else's car that way---so I tend to think of my cars as what they can be instead of enjoying them for what they are---thanks for helping me get back to the bigger picture by posting up those comments--

I can't believe Greg hasn't weighed in here yet---he must have broken both arms.

I never liked the blacked out centers either, however they began to grow on me over the course of a year---this site really had a bunch of great cars that weren't afraid to go all out---once Jon at Driverz Inc offered me these, I had to try them. I would probably never go back---the tires and wheels (stance also) are what makes this car (Jon's favorite motto).

This is the link that shows some other pics of the car--Let us know what you choose to put on the car.

Very welcome Doug. Your car is kick ass my friend, you should be proud.
(I still don't think 2 broken arms will stop Greg from weighing in here!! Where there's a will, there's a way with Greg!! lollllll:lol:)

Thanks Bro----you are too kind.

You are right about Greg---maybe he was on an episode of "Intervention" that we somehow missed and they were able to get him to commit to attending a "Posting" rehab program or something. I hope not, that would be a shame---
