Little video of the DC/ASP Camaro....

Hopefully you"ll enjoy this first of many little clips.
This is mainly the introduction of the car.... over the next few months there will be video's of what components it has... what it took to get there... and some serious drive/slide video's.

Not yet.... We ran into a little issue in regards to the "splitter vs, bumper"....
The splitter was pulling the bumper down... So we are in the process of redoing bumper out of steel
Hopefully I didn't jump the gun by claiming 200..... But really.... I don't see a problem doing it.
We shall find out this summer!! Lol.

Vegas69 01-26-2010 10:22 AM

There is not doubt you have the power to make it happen. The real question is, do you have the cohoneys. :unibrow:

The link is fixed now... If you can't get audio... you might need to update your player. It was down for a bit for some maintenance on the site.

Viperlover 01-28-2010 02:41 PM

I don't think I would have done a thing different on it. She looks bad ass.

GregWeld 01-28-2010 05:00 PM

Josh --

On my way to SEMA in '07 -- I hammered my '08 M5 to redline in seventh gear....

I don't think you have the cahoneys for 200 mph! I showed 170 on the heads up display -- and I want to tell you -- that is some serious movin' goin' on!

I hit the redline - and backed out of it.... :willy: :willy:

Video was kool.... can you get a stand in for the voice over?

See ya buddy

Flash68 01-28-2010 05:09 PM

Josh, sweet vid! Car is just hittin the spot. Enough touches and tweaks to make it stand out from every other damn 69 but not overdone and hacked out. One of the best 69s done I think. Congrats. Sounds killer too.

Greg, 170 is nothing in a German car. Come on.

My ARSE ain't german though!!

phillym5 01-28-2010 05:58 PM

Greg.....

I'm just hoping I can push through the air with this hunk of steal!! Lol.

I used to have 2 e39 M5's. One with 700 rwhp. I would run that sucker over 180 on the
Regular. The slower one I took on Gumball in 02 and maxed that one out. There was still
Abit of motor left.... But with the speedo buried past 185.... I got past by a Ferrari F50.
I'm not too concerned about having the balls or not.... But whether the mechanics hold up
.... And the aerodynamics are there.

Once the Speedtech subframe goes in..... And the suspension is tuned up... And the weather
Warms up.... I'll hook the GPS up and give it a whirl.

Im sure that M5 was smooth as a babys bottom at that speed.... those suckers even in stock form pull very nice on the high end.

I don't want to jack Josh's thread..... but I have to tell ya - that M5 pulled HARD all the way to redline...

Josh - I'm feelin' the Texas Mile for that bad boy!!

EEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Vegas69 01-28-2010 08:48 PM

After autocrossing my 550i I realized how inferior the car is. It's the same box and I know it's better suited for the autobahn, but I'd take my camaro anyday, anywhere.

sik68 01-29-2010 04:07 PM

Josh! Awesome Camaro. Very tasteful but noticeable modifications. The drag-car spoiler is unbelievably cool. I think you gotta hop on Fantasy Factory so we can see you vs. Rob Dyrdek's '69. Although... he can't even beat what's his name in that F430.

Rybar 01-29-2010 04:17 PM

Josh, that thing sounds unreal. Thanks for fixing the audio. Sure looks like it puts a smile on your face and that's what it's all about.

The car also looks killer in the sunlight.

I've driven my car with my DC shoes. Did you space out your pedals for them? they are a fat shoe lol

Thanks man...
Actually the original plan was to run Dyrdeks car... but he was scared poo-less of his car. My shop built that car for him...we built it a little too rowdy than what he wanted...it was a bit outside his comfort zone. So the car is back at our shop to get a completely new look and motor. His car put down roughly 550 at the tire... so mine would have blown his doors off.... but it would have been fun never the less.

Thanks!! It sure does put a smile on my face.... and your right... that IS what its all about.

I usually rock my shoe the "JK7".. and it is a pretty thin shoe. The "mainstream" shoes are a bit bulkier. If your DC has a big ass DC logo on the side.. its probably a "mainstream" shoe....
