Anybody going to Del Mar goodguys show

I plan to be there.

I will be there in the Optima booth.

I'll be there in the phone booth.

I will be there in the Ironworks booth.

Is he bringing anything? I would like to meet that guys. He is not afraid to cut up a cut to fix a 1/2" just like myself.

I'll be there. Not sure how many days the Best of Show guys will drag me out there though. They're bringing 3-4 other cars, Hopefully Bad Penny is done then too.

GG Del Mar is a pretty good show. The autocross has tons of action, and usually big name builders (Foose) bring the latest and greatest out to San Diego.

We are also going to have a big booth with a few cars on the AutoX.

What projects will you be bring this time around?

At this point I'm not sure. Dave's Camaro is going to stay under wraps a little while longer, It will not be there. The 48 Chevy truck we thought about taking won't be there, Just not quite to the point I want. I wanted to bring Eric's 62 nova in bare metal, but I need to finish the design work on the custom control arms. But I'm planning to take one of our new Tri-5 Chassis's to debut for sure. I'm also thinking about taking my truck again, even though it is old news, Since it would be able to stay in our booth all weekend. I'm not sure alot of people might have made the full connection who built the truck. So displaying it in our booth might be a good idea. People really dig that thing.

I will be there, with the charger and the big red truck. Anyone got any connections? I will have a golfcart too if we can get it in.

Tracy, be sure we hook up.

The OPTIMA Batteries OneLapCamaro will be there - sporting a new look (and hopefully matching wheels on all four corners). We'll be some where in between the OPTIMA booth and the Autocross.

What "connections" do you need? Mr Meadors Broke down last summer in Bakersfield. So I have a few in's.

Any word on how the Auto-X went? Who won, who was fast, who was slow, any pictures?

what class was she in? I heard someone else got the overall top time.

The Maire (sp?) mustang took the overall fastest lap but he was in the vendor class. 29.20
I think Mary ran a 29.588 and Brian was second with a 29.640 so it was a battle to the end, fun to watch.
I ran a best of 32.40 in the charger, Kyle ran a 31.3 in the charger, so my driving needs help.
Fun times, we left Del Mar Saturday afternoon and will spend the night at Brian's house in Nashville tonight, however it will be 1am before we get there.
Long trip but good times.

Had a great time down in Cali. This is one show I did not mind getting on a plane to check out. Spent some time at Ironworks and drove the 101 all the way down and back up again. Had a blast hanging out through the week in a group with Tracy Weaver, Kenny Davis, Jason (WAR), Rodger and all the wives. Good time, good food, good drink. Jason tell your wife the girls loved the items we bought at your wife's display boutique (cool stuff) Kennys camaro ss rental went back in one piece and so did my g6 rental. Tracy I owe you a couple of bottles, next time lets rationalize LOL.
Met Doug for the first time, one sweet ride and one of the best stances I'd seen all week. Thanks for giving my son a cruise to the auto-x, BTW did you ever figure where that bolt came from?

Congratulations to Mary P on the win and Mike Maier of Maier Racing for the overall fastest time. Mike is showing you can make an old Mustang run with the Chevy guys. They both put on a great show.
