Looking good. Can't wait to see more updates. I'm also doing a 68. It's an Acadian which is a Nova with Acadian badging. What are your plans for the build?

waynieZ 06-07-2010 09:47 PM

Nice project. It looks like you made some nice progress.

frojoe 06-07-2010 11:34 PM

Cool... always nice to see the Nova getting some love.

Welcome & good luck!

thanks.i've been following your build. very nice.for now i am gona fix all the rust underneath.dse tubs and 3"drop front and rear.i bought 17 x8 and 17 x11 tt2 W/245/17 and 315 17 to help the budget.i bought a 12 bolt 3.90 gear. i would love to do a ls2 6sp.the motor the car came with is a 350 with double hump heads and a nice little cam.i threw some parts at it and got it runnning and driving around in the driveway.ran nicely.so i may sell that engine and trans to help fund a ls2 6 speed. i feel it's gona be a long process,it's nice that i have a 70 chevelle big block to have some fun in,so no big hurry.i rather take my time.

yes, stock width rear.they are 17x11 with 7.25" b/s.they take up all of the dse tubs.

Steve68 12-02-2012 08:20 AM

Really liking the color,

my Nova is a 82 GM Flame Red, I think its a Corvette color, it dosent do anything for me, I like the VW red color that Steilow painted the last red car,

I like the 2012 Victory red, and the Porsche guards red,

but I'm looking at all colors too, descisions,
