SOLD>>>>1967 camaro with ls1 in CA (PRICE LOWERED)
I just finished college and I know I just dont think I have the time and $$$ to finsih this project. Especially when I need a car for to get around in for right now. I'm not looking for trades but I bought this car from the original owner in Sparks, NV.

The car is located in northern california. Price lowered to 16.5 -Dan |
is the asking price a little high? I dont know how to value this car with these mods.
let me know what you think is reasonable or if i should change the sales price.... I know one thing with these cars, you are going to ALWAYS get less money for it than what is put in.:( |
DUDE!! Hate to see you sell it!

I might have to park it in the street but i'm scarred of people stealing it. |
Put it on jack stands, at least they couldn't roll it away. Unless you'd have to move it often.

ok, I was talking to some people. that asking price is a bit high since they said it's not drivable. I could just get it drivable and sell it for a little bit more |

Why not finish it and drive it till you get another set of cheap wheels? I would hate to see you sell a car you have worked so hard on and is almost complete. Maybe talk to a local friend, member,or someone about rent a spot to keep it for now. Just my thoughts and your talking to a guy that has a 72 Chevelle and his soon to be wife has a 67 C10 and she knows neither are going anywhere period and I am getting married Saturday!

18's wheels/tires, rebuild rear end, gauges, etc.:willy: :willy: |
always look for used set of wheels, and gauges. Does the rear end need to be rebuilt to drive? I am just curious and trying to keep you from selling. Wheels check with Jon @ Driverz Inc or Frank @ Prodigy Customer maybe they can help. Just hate to see you sell after this far done man!

camro parts
i wil also be interested in the gas tank,
who knows you may make close to what your asking for if you part out |
I say drive it you dont need 18's right away seeing as you have rally wheels and MT's on it right now. Since the paint is done throw the glass and seats in get that beast running and drive it. You will kick yourself every time you see another camaro running down the steet if you dont. With the ls1 that car should be pretty damn reliable I personally wouldn't think twice about daily driving it. After all isn't that what we build these cars to do. Also remember you dont need all the best trick parts...its not what the other guys has its all about what makes you happy. To many guys get out of hand with their you know what measuring contests and never end up finishing their cars. Please dont take offence those wilwoods are freaking sweet but I would rather have a running car any day.

Nice guy... him and I are trying to come to a deal(its my fault), come on someone, give him the cash.. Bump for you Dan

bump....

Looks like a deal to me. Hell, painted and with all those parts....I have a similar swap, lst-t56-14 in wilwoods-magnacharger etc and I have way more into it then he is asking. If I didnt have a few projects going, I would buy that for sure.
If you get desperate, pm me. Why not find a partner to share it with. A friend maybe. Draw up a contract...he gives you $9k and stores it and you guys get it running and then sell it or keep it. |

Thanks Daniel.
That was a long road trip. (CA I hate you and your stupid chains required for snow on a 4wd w/ trailer) I'll continue on with the project this summer well the wife is downrange. Expect to see a thread on it when I get time. |
so did this ever sell?
|
If you havent sold it already, take it from me, Student loans are the way to go. You will pay them off pretty quickly after you finish school, but it will take you much longer to replace the car (you will always miss it). I made myself a deal to never sell mine no matter what. Im glad I did.
|
He sold it, saw a build thread on pro-touring yesterday from the guy who bought it.
