Man whats with the holley stuff, seems like any brand owned by them sucks. hooker headers dont ft, carbs full of casting residue, clogged jets, no power valves installed.

I'm done with them.. I know they where/are in bankrupcy i guess thats there reasoning for junk products and having it made in china and mexico.

That's what happens to a company when it's run by bean counters instead of car guys.

That seems to be happening to just about anything that used to be no 100% american. WTF. Then certain poeple sit there and point fingers at everybody else, while their toyotas, nissans, beamers, or benz's are sitting in the driveway.

Hey bro, this is a good, clean forum where we all like to have fun and occasionally poke fun at others. But, there is, in my opinion, no place for that kind of language here. I'm talkin about the "bean counters" comment. While you were at it, why don't you just say "watermelon and fried chicken eater" or "white sheet wearer." You are a new guy and probably didn't mean anything by it, but just be cautious of the things you say on here please.

I hope I am missing something here. "Bean Counters" typically refers to Accountants and has no racial implications at all. Help me out here. Unless you are an Accountant and take offense, then, well, OK.

Jack asses are still pink in the middle. I have never heard that statement used for anything but the tight wads in the accounting office that know little or nothing about the auto parts business. I didn't call anybody racist. And If I implied it, I apologize. But, the word racist isn't anywhere in my post. I further said, you probably didn't mean anything by it. Did you all miss that part? I guess so. It may be a regional thing, but where I'm from "bean counter" is associated with a Hispanic person, not an accountanat. I'm here in Texas where we are right next to Mexico with alot of immigrants. And no, I'm not an accountant. Just someone on this forum who likes it here and is opposed to anything not fun and clean. That's the only reason I said be careful of what you say. And if you meant an accountant just be clear and say....a G.D. accountant or something. Have a good day!!!!!

These statements can only be taken as racist. And the context you used them implied you thought Taman was making a racist statement. Since you are a truck enthusiast as well, we have posted in a lot of the same places. I have always found you to be a good guy. Obviously "Bean Counters" in your area has a different connotation. I think what we have is a big misunderstanding. My one piece of advice is to use the PM function for giving people a heads up on that kind of stuff.
