Those look great. Perfect size too!
|
Very Nice
|
wow.. very nice.
wheels make or brake cars.. and sir those wheels just made your car! congrats! |
Those are bitchin....:D
|
VERY, VERY NICE!!! Can't wait to see them mounted on your car. It's going to transform the look COMPLETELY!
|
Thanks guys!! I am very happy. The brushed does not go great with the car color but we are going to be painting the car after everything is completed on the build and we know it all works. Thinking a charcoal grey or white and satin black off sets. I just had the bumpers done and everything else is going to be treated with satin black if chrome now to try my idea or combo I am going with.
|
Now you'll have a good excuse to take a test drive over the hill so we can check them out in person! Great choice in size and style!
|
Right on, yea I would like to stop and check your shop out one day.
So, I am trying to order tires and getting stuck..... Nitto NT05 *(What do people feel about these?) Street use mainly Front -275/30r19 = 25.51x10.71 -275/35r19 = 26.65x10.79 / think this is too tall? Rear -275/35r20 = 27.56x10.75 - too skinny -275/40r20 = 28.62x10.79 - too skinny -315/35r20 = 28.62x12.40 / I think I can "make" this fit? OR Nitto NT555 *(What do people feel about these?) Street use mainly Front -275/30r19 = 25.51x10.71 -275/35r19 = 26.65x10.79 / think this is too tall? Rear -275/30r20 = 26.61x10.71 - too skinny -275/35r20 = 27.60x10.91 - too skinny -285/30r20 = 26.93x11.02 / I think this is a great fit with the 275/30r19 front but I am feeling this is conservative and I need to try the 315/35r20:willy: Any other recommendations so I can order some tires and get them under the car so I can take my axle specs to start the axle build. |
Nice avatar, Nick! Thanks for everything!
People often refer vendors, but as a vendor let me just refer Nick as a client. Fellow vendors and business owners know what I mean and you'll really know what I mean of Nick calls to purchase from you. Car looks great, Nick. I look forward to watching it come together. |
So sweet---love the brushed finish against the black---awesome looking.

Yea I was off on that, my head was spinning from the rear tires I was way off on that. So is anyone running the Nitto Invo's? Not sure if they will look right on a classic car, maybe more euro new car? |

im not a fan of the style of the invos. id still look into the 305 nt555rs for the rear if you arent concerned about having a tire with 200+ treadwear. thats the only reason i went with the 315 nt05's.

I would check out the NT555R, because they do have the 305/35/20, which has a nice sidewall height, and will look good on that 10" rim. - Travis |
I've got the Invo, I really like the look of the tread when I saw it in person, plus it looks good to me on the 70

OK, 285/30r20 Nitto 555's are here, 305/35r20 555R's will be here next week then I can take some axle specs and get my FAB 9" ordered!!! :woot: |
Nice wheel choice and great color. They flow well with the color of the car and the black top.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...Rated_X__8.jpg Must be the massive lip. Those wheels will look great under your car. Usually I dont like 20" tall wheels under most old iron. But your car will pull the look off perfectly, nice big rear quarter. Great choice. And Im thinking a 305mm tire is the way to go JR |
Nitto NT555 245/35r19 (25.87x9.65) going to be here Monday!!
Here is what the Nitto NT555r 305/35r20 (28.58x12.16) look like. I really like it, going to get the tires mounted tomorrow and make some room in the wheel well by rolling/cutting the outer fender lip. http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p...0test%2001.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p...0test%2002.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p...0test%2003.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p...0test%2004.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p...0test%2005.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p...0test%2006.JPG |
It's gonna look sick, look forward to the pics!

Here is how it looks on the new wheels and tires.
Front -Nitto NT555 245/35r19 (25.87x9.65) -Rushforth Rated X (Machine lip w/satin black face) 19x8 5" BS Rear - Nitto NT555r 305/35r20 (28.58x12.16) - Rushforth Rated X (Machine lip w/satin black face) 20x10 4.5" BS The car will settle down a inch or more in the front when I drive it again but this is for the time being until my new rear 9" axle gets here, but over all this is the stance I am aiming for. http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p..._X%20%2001.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p..._X%20%2002.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p..._X%20%2003.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p..._X%20%2004.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p..._X%20%2005.JPG http://www.norcaltruck.com/01_misc_p..._X%20%2006.JPG |
