Rick, I ran those on my yellow camaro. Great detail and quality. Alot of cool wheels out there, can never go wrong with Fikse.

Hope you have a tire guy you trust to mount them, that is always a nervous time. See if they have a Hunter Machine. Good Luck, you should be smilin!!

Sounds real nice Rick ! Post some pics of them !

I just cant figure out why Fikse is behind the times and does not use a reverse lip design .

Rick

Is the car mini-tubbed? You gotta give us some additional info man. I am thinking of doing my 74 Z-28 PT and any info would be appreciated.

Stuart Adams 12-19-2005 08:33 AM

Yeah I didn't see it in the members section either. Fill us in, looks REAL good.

I have a 73 camaro with stock ralleys on. I am jealous. real jealous.

By the way I know you did the martz rear suspension and it looks great to get that type of tire clearance, but do you have to go with a 9inch rear or is there away to go with a factory 10 bolt?

lil427z 12-19-2005 11:07 AM

yes the car is mini tuded 3'' and the rear end is narrowed 1.5'' that gave me 15'' of room
the fikse rim /tire is 14'' wide.

i used a ford 9'' . you can use a 10 bolt .
thanks rick kirkindall :captain: :hail:

With 18x12 rear wheels my guess would be yes ;)

Fikse wheels are definetly nice, pictures don't really do them justice.. sweet!

My Fikses for my 69 are sweet. When I took the wheels to a specialty wheel place to have the Pilots mounted, the Porsche/Ferrari (Basically the Wine and Cheeze Boys) loved them. When I told them they are for a 69 Camaro, they offered me a free alinement if I would bring the car to them.

I actually own the reverse lip with my Intro Pentias and often wish I would have got the standard lip. I think the standard lip makes for easier mounting...and you could pretty much trust any tire buster to mount/balance your tires...with my wheels I'm always sweating bullets during tire mounting...not my favorite past time!!

In my mind, Fikse wheels are more geared towards the race track not the show circuit, which to me explains why they still use a standard hoop...not that they aren't very high quality and they look sweet!! I hope to own some sooner than later!!

thanks, the more i look at the car the more i like them . sex on wheels .
