It looks like you ran out of room for the exhaust! :) J/K, I had the same issue with the goat. between the wide rear tires and the tank, just no where to go with the tailpipes. I am glad to see you went to the trouble of running them over and around the rearend, very nice work indeed.

I like the header guards. Good idea to have those with a low car. Hope you don't me stealing the idea.

can youtell me what this is for?? |
Looks like a driveshaft Loop.
|
oh wait.. is it just for the d-shaft hoop??
|
lol beat me to it

Rick -
Looks awesome. You should get a hold of one of the specialty places to produce those header protectors from your design. Looks like a product in the making. Maybe Jody or Frank have contacts? Just an idea. What material did you use and how thick? Did you just weld them directly to the headers? Nice touch with the cardboard between the car and the lift. -Bruce |

Rick- your car is great! Aren't you working on a big-inch LSx engine swap also?
Your car really stood out on the Power Tour and I told you so at the time. I hope to run into you some time up here in D/FW. It'd be fun to cruise with you to an F-Bod meet or something. :hail: |
y-try, lets do it . thanks

i think the car is running one of those martz 4 links that has super short arms and binds like a mother if it is ever pushed hard, guys do not have alot of good things to say about the martz set-up unless it is used to go to shows only.
|
The look is killer love the exhaust.

thanks rick k :captain: |
uh
thanks rick, but i have alittle susp knowledge and i know it has too many compromises to fit in the area it fits, i guess its close to your heart, but you will see mine soon, and i doubt you will be able to pick it apart, it will be the highest performance rear susp offered out there in kit form, thanks anyway.
all i was saying was my opinion and also what close friends in the field have told me, sorry for telling the truth. jake |
jake , martzchassis has been doing this for 30+ years so you tell him what you thank of his stuff . what kind of a car do you have .
thanks rick k :) |
martz
30 years or not i am sure it work, **** sand paper can work for tp anyday, not that you would want to use it for that but you get the picture.
should we start a poll on martz chassis?? i wonder how it would turn out? i am sure it works fine but there are alot of compromises in the design period. i have a 68 camaro thanks jake  :captain: :hail: |
  Jake, have you seen Rick's car?

Rick loves his car....I mean a lot ! and it is such a very fine ride..just dont take it to wall-mart because some fat girl will dent it with her kia door..lol
|
OK Rick I was supposed to build the best looking and performing 2nd gen camaro. Why did you have to beat me to it?
Love the car. I have looked at your suspension for some time now on Martz web site. I love it and I think it is a good set up. Also for the price it is one of the least expensive kits around. It is uder $1500 for everything. One day I will cough up the money and get one. Now ofcourse there are probably better suspensions out there but your looking at $3000-$4000 and who actually needs all that? |
do you have a over/under drive in it or what is that cross member for?
