Anyone else going to the CC Summer Nats this weekend?

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. It'd be nice to get a few PT cars together!

I'll be there Friday afternoon and part of Saturday. I have to be back home in the afternoon because of my on-call, but a few hours at Car Craft is better than nothing. :thumbsup:

hoping to get the charger on the belair finshed up tonight so some time this weekend I can throw it on the dyno.maybe the burnout show to.last year the internal belt blew in the charger durning the burnout show.just finaly getting it back together with some upgrades.hope to see some of you guys out there.:)

it was a great weekend for me at the summer nats, car craft did a photo shoot and feature on my car. said it will be in a up coming issue... I feel like i just hit the lottery.:dance:

It was a good weekend for both of us!!! Im glad the rain gave us just enuf of a break for the photoshoot to happen!!!

thanks guys, 417motorsports, your right about the rain, I was beginning to worry that the shoot might not happen, your duramax wagon is awesome, maybe next year all the lat g guys can get together at the nats, it would be cool to meet everyone. After the shoot my wife said good now we dont have to come to the car craft nats anymore and I say, no, now we have to start a new project..

Who watched the burnout contest. There was a car that was ripping it up and displaying pinkish red smoke. It seems like he had a canister filled with some type paint that trickled unto the tires. Anyway, my 10yr old got a kick out of it.

My weekend wasn't so awesome, overflowed the radiator on Saturday crawling through the crowd so I didn't get to wander around much, had to drive my old lifted Silverado into the show on Sunday to carry the cooler...I think people actually thought I was showing it, but it IS Minnesota, so I got some positive feedback. :D

Next year we need to get a bunch of Lat-G cars together and represent. I managed to get my car over to my buddies tents later in the day and there was an aluminum radiator/Spal fan vendor...so I got my wife some new anniversary gifts. :_paranoid

Actually a few years ago Kuhmo came out with a line of tires that had flare powder mixed into them for their drift team. They have yellow, red and blue versions. They are very hard to get and fairly expensive when you can.

It was at GG Columbus last year, competing for SMOY. IIRC, he had some issues with it on the autocross course. It looked huge running through the cones alongside all the pony cars, and the RS Vette. The theme reminds me of Thrillbilly.

That's where I saw it! I didn't go, but saw the pics from the event. I knew I seen it somewhere! lol:_paranoid

Yup. :yes: It would be cool to see them sitting side by side. A magazine should pick up on that for a shoot, with a bonfire and a keg in the background - plain old good times! :D
