Good Guy's Puyallup, WA
It's been another year already! Wow, were does the time go?
At last years show, on Saturday, my wife and I (mostly Jennifer) grilled lunch for all the Lateral-g members that could make it. We did this at our travel trailer in the camping area of the Fairgrounds. And since we had such a great time, we are going to be doing it again this year....with the generous help of Eric (70rs)! I plan to have an ATV flag flying above the trailer to help you find your way....it helped a lot last year! It's a sea of RV's so every little bit helps! We don't have a set time just yet...but let's shoot for noon on Saturday! If you can't find us give me a call! 503 936 315 eight. BTW, we will be arriving Thursday evening and will be around all weekend...if you want to hang just look us up! See ya this weekend!! |
Myself and Tim will be up on Saturday.
I'll give you a call and you can call me also. |
No go for me this year. But I have a good excuse
|
So who is planning on attending the show?
This will be my first time. |

Trailer location
Hey guys, I just heard from Tony. They made it up here just fine.
They are parked just to the LEFT of the GREEN parking exit. The ATV flag is hard to see because there is a huge RV parked in the way near the exit. So look for green parking. Left of exit for that area. Hope to see you all there! Eric:cheers: |
Roger from speedtech made it down last night, with "redZed" make sure you try to hook up with him, i won't be down as i am working like a DOG to finish the nova for Plesanton
|
Headed out with the wife saturday morning before it gets to hot.

Hay Guys, Don't forget to take time for your cargo shorts reunion group picture. Just don't forget to remind the guy in Blue jeans about the Matching group picture opportunity. The show just won't be the same with out those kinds of memories. :D :D :D :D

ahh ya!!! |
and to think you KEEP that stuff on your comp.????
|
I was at the show today and there was a guy selling bandsaws in the Showplex. He was cutting material wafer thin. If anyone saw this and recalls what brand it was let me know so I can do some research.
Thanks Robert |

It was cargo shorts weather. Most of us had them on. Of course Greg had Jeans and a Black shirt.
Rogers Redzed is a real nice car and the ride height is perfect. Great Meeting everyone and putting screen names to faces. Thanks Tony and Jen for putting on a great bar-b-q! |

Thanks to all that could make it by for lunch Saturday....two years in a row...I think we may have something here! Best we can tell we had around 30people or so over! Thanks to Eric and his wife for helping out too! It was great to see everyone again and we got to meet some new people as well! Always a good time! |

The reason for the blue jeans was because I had been UNDER the car a couple of times the day before and didn't TRUST it (a failed brand new SPAL relay for the fuel pump... go figure) ... and didn't want to be F.O.R.D. crawling under there in shorts. YES I'm TOO STUPID to have taken a "spare pair". After 40 years of this crap I'm still learning. |
Now.... having posted an official excuse for being a moron...
I must thank JENNIFER :theresa: and Tony for the fabulous hospitality (and marvelous food!). Thank you so much for making this weekend about THE PEOPLE. |
great to see everyone at the BBQ- great show- our own Lat-G memeber Brett Anderson won a Pro's Pic with his fresh second gen
JayR's car made is under it's own power good times- Chris:D |
The weather was perfect for the event.... However, I didn't get to go.
Did anyone take any photos? |
Great seeing/meeting you guys down there. It was great putting faces to screen names. Anthony, Jennifer thanks for all the hospitality (and sunscreen) Congrats Brett on a great looking second gen! I took pics. :wow: Good times, good people, what else can you ask for???

There...I fixed it....

Thanks again guys for the kind words! I'll let Jennifer know her efforts are much appreciated! You should know I did help her....actually quite a bit really! But yeah....it wouldn't happen without her! She loves ya guys!!
Greg you are totally correct...it is about the people! I have to admit, as much as I love looking (and driving cars, thanks Roger!!!!!) at the cars I really look forward to hanging out with our friends as well as meeting new friends! We had a great time! Roger, thanks for hanging out with us all weekend...it was very nice! And thanks for letting me get behind the wheel of Redzed...what an awesome car!! I so can't wait to drive Karma with that Speed Tech suspension!! :hail: Bret, huge congrats! You have hit it out of the park one more time! |

Not to beat a dead horse, but thank you both for the food, drink, shade, camaraderie and conversation! And I can attest to the fact that Tony was grilling!
Way to start a tradition that is catching on like the SEMA dinner. The rest of you guys need to come out to the NW! The only thing this show is missing is an autocross but the PT cars are represented better every year. Edging out the teal green 32s one at a time! |

REMIND ME - next year - upon arrival I will drive the BBT down and bring a dozen (or whatever you think you want) of those folding chairs like we all use at car shows (I think I have 20 of them). And if you want - my EZ up... and I also have a couple of those tables you were using. Love ya! You're the best! |

Couple of comments: G/A-Body:The saw you are referring to is a HEM saw. They are very interesting. I drilled the salesman with questions and he had good answers for each. It pushes as opposed to pulls. Good saws work that way, the blade is guided better for a more precise and consistant cut. I want one!
And I want to tag on to the "thank you's" to Tony and Jennifer. The BBQ was great, again, and it is a blast to just hangout and BS with real car people. Can't wait for next year to see what people will bring. I'll probably still be rocking the Camaro and maybe even a mullet to match. Or not. Yeah I 'm still on cloud 9. Hard to believe I won a Builders Choice Award. There were some great cars there. Definately my greatest "car day" ever. :) |
