1967 nova subframe from dse...
i wonder who is getting the first one...... :censored:
|
Dse
I am on the waiting list:thumbsup:
|
I'm on the "Wish List" Hah! :hail:
I've got to finish my current project and then I'll be seriously hunting for a solid '66 or '67 Hardtop car. |
my father in law tried to get one last year for his ls9 chevy ii but they weren't ready to ship then, man i wish he would of got one. it looks alot different andbetter than any other ones ive seen and i am sure the performance is second to none.
|
I don't have a dog in this fight, but I am wondering what makes it "look" so much better than all the others? What is so special about it? Not trying to be a dick, just wondering.

look at the pics. the inner fenders look alot cleaner, not just a piece of flat sheetmetal with a couple of bends in it. the down bars are curved for i am assuming rigidity and the frame is hydroformed. it looks totally different than any other than i've seen.

I suppose "better" like "beauty" is in the eye of the beholder. What makes it look better to me is the OEM look and feel of everything. Their inner fenders really clean up the engine compartment.
I'm sure it will not disappoint with its performance either. I can't wait to see their Chevy II Test Car on the track. |
my mistake. @columbus i looked at it and the frame looked like it had rounded edges instead of squared off. the inner fenders really look right for the car.
|
Yikes....I thought my Chassisworks front clip was expensive......what makes this piece so much better?
|
my buddy is geting the first one so he tells me...
|
i highly doubt that =X
|
Any pics of this clip on an actual Nova? Yes I checked DSEs website and didn't notice any, unless I'm missing something.

DSE has great subframes.
We prefer to do full frames. Here's a full frame alternative we offer for early Novas. $3695 bare. |

more companies need to get creative w/their inner fender wells, like dse did. not only is he dse probably as good or better than anything else, they are ahead of everyone w/their design on the inner fenders. can't believe no one else had done it yet!!!

Wow! Your lucky!
|
These cars with that suspension will be a kick. Always liked the chevy II's.
|
So the Sub is $5900 on the website. How much are the inner fenders cause there not included?
|
I read somewhere they will be between 6 and $800.00.
|
The 9" tire up front will be awesome looking.

I want so badly to build one of these cars with DSE's goodies, but other things are taking precedence at this point in my life. I have to live vicariously through the folks that are at a stage in their life financially that they can do what I want to do. I guess it's a good lesson in patience, which I need (just ask my wife). |
Definitely higher priorities than cars. Keep plugging along.
