Looks to be another great ride. |
Those header are sweet! The parts list is top notch...
|
Cris.... Can I tell ya sumpthin'? LOL
Nice Camaro... great rendering... and we know you do great work! Those headers are SWEET! Okay - big question.... does the car HAVE to match Tylers hair? |
Greg- you are to much! I didn't even think about the color matching Tylers hair..

Sick rendering. Love it.

What did you do to get the oil fill cap to sit down low on the valve cover? That piece looks really nice (and so does a lot of the other stuff). I really don't like the stock piece with the cover removed and want something similar for my LS2. Thanks.
|
Nice rendering. The killer blue paint will go nice with the black wheels.
Sweet project! |
Those are some killer upgrades.
|
Wow. I'm stoked to see that car go into one hell of a transformation. :-)

Got a chance to see the car this weekend. I was blown away by the work Cris does. Some of the best sheet work I have ever seen. Pics do not do it justice. Can not wait to see this car finished.
|
Cris, I don't ever remember you giving me a rundown of the parts list, good god, it has all the right stuff going into it. I'm sure it will turn out great. I'll definitely be watching as this comes together. Now, about the name, I'm not sure I want to know, but is there a story behind it, and if so, can the story be told on a PG rated forum?
Matt |
Cris, what body mods will the car get?
|
Cris,
I did'nt see anything on the list about plumbing? |
The valve coves are LS7 which you don't fill oil on the valve cover.. so it looks like it is a dummy fill cap that has been epoxyed on..

Thanks for the compliments guys!
The owner of this build is just a great guy to work with.. He basically told me to build it as if it were mine.. but want it ASAP!!! So we are going with as many bolt on components with a few custom touches to it.. The 68 will be on East Coast attening as many open track & auto cross events & daily driven!! When we are done with the car it will get "Pozzi Tuned" before we ship it.. The color is looking like ZR-1 blue.. I want to Thank Ben Hermance for giving me a killer rendering to work with.. |

Talked about the project, goals and how much work is involved.. so I said (half jokingly) how about project blue balls.. after all, this whole process is an excercise in frustration.. lol and it just stuck.. it's a bit on the raunchy side, but it does fit.. Oh and Cris.. the backup name I came up with was PROJECT FAT BASTARD since you are doing the widebody kit.. Whatcha think? |
The back up name works for me!

I'm embarrassed... for either name.
|
It may be taken but I like this for a plate...

What about the name Project Blue Baron (the opposite of the Red Baron a WWI fighter airplane flown by Manfred Albrecht von Richthofen)?

Is this what people mean when cars shouldn't have a name unless it means something? I can appreciate it but I'm not sure it will roll of the tounge at Sema or a local car show.

And if you think about our hobby the name makes perfect sense.. sadly.. By hey.. "Fat Bastard" is a bit more family friendly.. so they have options. Want me to name your car??? :unibrow: |
Come shoot this thing and you can call it mildred....:unibrow:

Here is some updates for this week.. Customer wanted to run a booster on the car.. so we got one from DSE but did not like the way they angle up.. so we changed it a bit.. modified the firewall & pedal base to sit mounted on firewall.. wait till you see what I am doing for clutch Master cylinder.. DWG it up to get it machined this week.. Trying to use as many OE components..
