Anvil CF close-out panel

Installed an Anvil CF close-out panel. The fit is perfect. I should have gotten one of these a long time ago.

that looks fantastic! And I love the flat carbon fiber, looks so much purposeful and racy in flat instead of gloss. I have to ask though, when do your valve covers get sent to Autokraft for "flattening"? :D

Very nice

LowchevyII 08-12-2010 08:07 PM

man that does look great. Jody is right though, those valve covers need the flat treatment. Also might be time for the inner fenders :D

BBC71Nova 08-12-2010 08:23 PM

Very nice. I too love the flat carbon look.

What's with the giggle juice I see snuck in there. How's that been working out

Scott, car's ridiculous. That or you're one hell of a photographer. Not sure I'm feeling the flat look with the rest of the engine compartment.

monza 08-12-2010 09:26 PM

Love it

g356gear 08-12-2010 09:29 PM

What fender braces are those? I hadn't seen any that would really fit the cove in the Anvil panel but yours seem to fit well.

waynieZ 08-13-2010 10:37 AM

I love it it looks awesome. Of corse it looked awesome before the close out too.

rwhite692 08-13-2010 10:44 AM

That looks very nice! Love the matte finish.

I wish someone would simply make things like that (and inner fenders for running a 275 tire, for that matter) out of fiberglass.

I don't need/can't justify the expense of CF.

Rybar 08-13-2010 11:22 AM

Looks killer as usual Scott. I've been thinking of that part myself, Anvil did a real nice job with it.

So enough with the bling, I want to see some burnout videos

Well, you're in luck because we are going to start offering certain parts in fiberglass at an entry level price. I think we'll stock fiberglass versions of the close outs and inner fenders once we reduce our inventory of CF parts. Anything in our inventory can be special ordered in fiberglass, but we will need at least 6 weeks.

DFRESH 08-13-2010 08:32 PM

Scott---that looks amazing--really flows with your car---I'm looking forward to the time when I can do this type of refinement on mine--I love this kind of stuff. Shoot, I'd also love to swap subframes out on mine in 20 hours like you did, but let's get real.

Hey Matt, I think you're in luck too. I'll be calling you to help deplete your inventory of CF in the next couple of weeks. I might even have to add a close-out panel to the list, it's a nice piece.

Matt that is good news indeed. Particularly interested in the inner fenders.
