Bad ass. What does that car weigh?

6:47 is blisteringly fast... thats on par with the group C racers.. the track prepared viper and nissans gtr were 7:22+

35 seconds per lap faster is a week on a racetrack ...

The Zonda R is more race car than street car, hard to compare this to a Nissan GTR production car.

Scott, weight of this car is 2358.9 lbs and it runs a 750 hp Mercedes V12

The next closest car is the Ferrari 599XX which was the first production based car to break the 7 min mark. It ran a 6:58.16 about a week before the Pagani set it's record. The XX is only slightly less of a street car than the R. The main difference is the R can be licensed for street use somewhere, the XX cannot.

Looks like the Ferrari Enzo did it in 7:25 and the ZR1 Vette 7:26 so the times of the Zonda R and Ferrari 599XX are pretty amazing.
