Mark Lengal (bigtyme1) in the Hospital!
 

Last night Mark had two heart attacks! He was rushed to a hospital via an ambulance and had immediate surgery. He had a couple blocked arteries at the heart. They treated one with a stint and are hoping they can control the other’s blockage with meds. I just had a great phone conversation with him and he seems to be doing quite well…just sounds a bit tired as one would expect! Mark is a very close friend of mine, even though we live on opposite sides of the country, and when I got a text from him saying “I had a heart attack last night” I just about hit the floor! He’s only 43 and actually a pretty healthy guy! Just too much stress and not enough sleep and his body let him know! He’s still in the ICU tonight and most likely getting moved to a private room tomorrow. I will update you as I get more info!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family buddy!! Get lots of rest and listen to the Dr's!!

Miss SEMA? heck he is still planning on picking up his car next weekend! Mark called me earlier this evening and told me. I was as shocked as anyone. Get better Mark, hope to see you next weekend.

EDIT: I just spoke with Mark and he seems to be in real good spirits (all things considered). Keep up the words of encouragement..... I know he will get a kick out of them.

I just texted him and he replied back that he is doing much better. We still need to keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for kind words guys. I was in the middle of getting my truck ready for the big trip next week. I had just gotten off the phone with Nick from nor-cal . Believe it or not my buddy finished the truck as I was getting loaded in the ambulance

I'm glad to hear your doing better, your the third person I know in a month that this has happened to (all in good health, so they thought).

Mark got moved from the ICU to a private room today and may go home tomorrow!

I'm 57 tomorrow -- and I guess I'm going to have to give him an old fashioned azz whoppin' and whip him into shape!

Mark -- You'll just have to retire now... after all... you're now two years older than when I did... and just look at me (well... don't look to closely)! I have to take a vacation from my vacation! LOL

We should see if Charley will put you on his payroll... you can hang out and wash and wax JA daily. You'll have to use The Mule for a parts chaser... and air up the tires on the cars for track days. :cheers: :woot:
