Finally! The day has come. Updated with Cabinets! :)
I've always dreamed of having a nice shop floor in my garage.
Something neat, waterproof and complementary to garage life. After a long wait, it's finally here! Used the Rust-Oleum, DIY kit stuff, so it's not professionally installed... so give me some slack :) Anywho, I just finished the clear coat last night and I'll get a pic of it tonight when I return to the house. The wife and I built this house and it's brand new concrete, so it was the best time to do it. the garage is 36'x25'. :) Pic's coming soon :) |
congrats Eric. I used the same thing on my new concrete floors. Not sold on how it seems to come up too easy, but I've heard others that thought it worked well. Hopefully your results are good.

Sounds awesome. I await the photos!

I used the same stuff and loved the look. Only one small spot flaked, but over all not to bad for a do it your self kind of thing.
Looking forward to the pictures! |
Cool, anxiously waiting for pics!

No Pictures??? Do you need to borrow a camera?

Here's where she started, and where it sits as of today. The plan is to mud/tape the walls, then paint it with a two tone paint scheme with an accent stripe for good measure :) Before: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4087/...95f2e9555e.jpg Putting up sheet rock. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4151/...3f03e2fb24.jpg Moved in ... of sorts. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4091/...5106c7a1e7.jpg |
Man that looks awesome. Nice house too.
|
Awesome garage! That will be a great place to work on the cars!
|
Eric - that looks like a great space! The '68 will have a nice home now.
When exactly is the garage warming party? |
Now that's a garage! Very nice.

a couple cabinets are in. They will be painted white.
The left side wooden cabinet holds the wet-dry shop-vac out of sight :) All of these cabinets are made of really high quality metal and are remnants from the 50's. All original Formica and steel kitchen cabinets by Youngstown :D http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4149/...5e09faac82.jpg |
