Been in NC for the last 2 weeks Jon,my dad & I towed Ingenue back for the east coast drag times event and man was it huge.
Dad got a chance to see old friends he raced with 40+ years ago and I was soaking it all up like a sponge.

I got the itch bad to restore both of dad's old drag cars while he's still on planet earth,wifey greenlighted me on the project(s) as long as I sell the street cars so I'm breaking up the skittles collection as some call them,lol to get that done.

Yeah he said you used to own an expensive beamer and worked at a pizza parlor for pennies. Sounds like my high school experience, just dumping $300 a week into my car. Tell him he should buy your camaro, because if the camaro was parked where his long ass truck was it wouldnt have gotten hit.

I went looking for this issue, I want to see the camaro at the bottom :D

I worked with him at his dad's Pizza Man/Chicken Delight restaurant,I had a brand new '76 2002 and delvered pizza in it...couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any tips,lol.:rolleyes:

I know he wants one of my cars bad,but he says his hands are tied for a few years.I copied a bunch of my F/C & AA/GD pics I just unearthened and will send them his way with some stickers.

He and his family were just in town earlier in the year,we went to dinner with them.

He told me he's only said about 2 words to you since you started there and one day you asked him if he knew John Lipori and he was shocked...:lol:

Funny how that works, when you take care of your car you dont really have to talk to the mechanic. The last time I talked to him I was informing him that a new sergeant was kicking him out of his parking spot :willy:
