It's PHR Contest time and congrats to all the members in the March issue

March is the official pro-touring edition.. why? Well, because the issue is stuffed full of members from pro-touring.com and lateral-g.net!

How many? well quite a few, and all over the book.

Here is the contest. Email me all the names in the book of members on the two sites. It will be hard since the book has their "real" names and we just have screen names, but hey, nobody said life was easy :)

ONLY printed names count.. not a picture of someone or an ad for a company that posts here unless it contains the persons name

The easy ones will be Bill Howell and SW since their cars are featured, but there are many more. What's the prize? who the hell knows.. could be a PHR jacket of some other swag goodie(s).

The one that I think found closest to the total number of board members will win. If several people get 100% then I will drop the names in a hat. This is nothing official with the magazine, just a fun little thing I am going to do. The email is [email protected]

Oh, and congrats to both sites and all the members in the book!

It's the March issue with this poser on the cover ;)

If not they will be in the next few days.. don't worry.. it's not who gets me the correct answer first.

End date of the contest is the 17th which is before I go on vacation..

I next day aired Billy a copy so that his brain would not explode in anticipation. I think the pictures actually do the car justice in this case.

Huxsol81 01-05-2006 07:36 PM

Awesome car Bill, and equally eye pleasing photo Steve!

Too late! lol
I am trying to get the cover scanned now, and will post a goat for ya.
Thanks so much Steve, it is truely an honor to be in PHR much less be on the cover. SW, as always, awesome car, I would love to take it around the block one time.
I have a head start on the contest, but damn, everywhere I look there is someone else. If you are including the ones in photos, I doubt anyone gets them all.
Thanks again.

And it's pleasure to have your car on the cover, you did a great job and should be proud

Yep, Hunkins is the man with the camera, that's for sure..

Hey, another milestone for me in the book.. my first feature that I Photographed!!!

I'm no Hunkins, but I think it came out pretty good. The engine shot and owner pic could have been better, but I was very happy with the exterior shots. Anyways, it's a start :)

Ummgawa 01-06-2006 08:21 AM

Bill, you completely suck...but in a good way. Kudos man, thats awesome.

Thanks again everyone. The photography is absolutely amazing. Just wait til you get your copy. My favorite shot is the one taking from behind the car. Even though it is not a big picture, at that angle, the goat is almost sexual.
Damn, did I really just say that? I will let yall decide if I am correct or crazy... :willy:

Ummgawa 01-06-2006 02:25 PM

"the goat is almost sexual." Direct quote from Bill Howell.

To quote a very funny joke "I don't believe I'da told that brother!!"

I was guessing that the next thing said will involve chrome removal from trailer hitches and other tidbits of that nature performed by women with a relaxed moral attitude.

Ummgawa 01-06-2006 02:47 PM

How's this Bill? :D

Best quote "the goat is almost sexual." Direct quote from Bill Howell."

OH, that is MUCH better, :hail: :hail:

From smack talkers post, it looks like you have started something. Ten thousand comedians out of work, and we have you for free.......

jski67 01-06-2006 05:25 PM

Wow that is just a beautiful picture. Congrats!

My dad bought a GTO new in 65. No tri power, but single 4 barrel with a four speed. Candelight creme was the color...awesome car.

I still love my camaro, but the more I see GTO's, early nova's and chevelles, I really want my next car to have that tough, angular styling.
