Disney Fireworks pics

Spent last week in Florida doing Disney with the family. Great time, took way too many pics. :D

I took some pics of the fireworks over the castle, they turned out kinda cool, so I thought I'd share.

were you hand holding the camera, the crowd doesnt look like youd be able to squeeze in a tripod? what shutter and aperture were you shooting at. they came out beautifully.

I have a Nikon D90 and was using my 10-24mm wide angle lens.

I was hand holding the camera. I didn't want to lug my tripod (or monopod) around Disney, lol. The EXIF shows 1/125, f4.0, and ISO 3200.

ahhhh makes sense. i wasnt thinking the iso would be that high. pics are really clear for being shot at 3200 iso. not a lot of grain in them. great pics again! the wide angle really makes them look awesome.

The best fireworks display i have ever seen is at disney, was there over 4th of july one year and wow it killer, heading to disneyworld tonight for 7 days with my kids cant wait.

Great photos Scott. These would have been a perfect cover for a Christmas card. My younger kids are down there now visiting Grandma, she's a seamstress for the Disney character costumes. Hope you and your family are having a great holiday season.

The fireworks are spectacular!

You never saw one that I did then!

2000 "Millenium" New York City -- we had 13 BARGES -- 4500 shells per barge! I was there for 2 weeks setting that show up. :woot:

You also must have missed the International Fireworks Festival in Seoul, So. Korea... that show was a competition between us - China - Japan.... we so kicked their butts! Amazing "movement" in the setup -- with all kinds of technical angles -- and strobes - and aerials... The set up was hugely complicated and the show was specatacular.... and trust me when I tell you = it takes some effort to light my fuse up!

^^^^^^^ I forgot (I'm old) to say what I originally came on the thread to say!

Those are by far = the very best shots of fireworks I think I've ever seen!

Amazing Scott! Great color (the part that usually is washed out or just "white") and stopping the action like that! PERFECT!

Thanks Greg. It was a fun challenge.
