Ok, Ok...

1/4 in steel plate reinforced framerail gets me 14.75"+ wheel housing clearance

Over axle center mounted battery tie down

AME + Autorad

Anvil + Marquez goodies

Decent gaps and drip rail mods

That's all you get (for now), criticize away...:)

Be proud Ron - looks good for being 2 months ago - I am sure progress has been made. Gapping and firewall look darn good. What's happening with windshield and gutter work now? Lovin' it buddy  Tail lights are first class

lhkustoms 01-06-2011 11:15 PM

Ron looks really good buddy
So who is building the car for you?

Thanks Fernando - Marquez is first class! Since these pics more gapping, test fitting the glass, making every body panel perfect. There's still a bunch of welding mostly underneath; firewall needs a little more T56 surgery, I think. I also need to stop changing the design elements so it can get into the paint booth.

Thanks Luke! My buddy Travis - Daytonayellaz on PT - is doing suspension fab along with another shop for paint and body. Lots of help from all the usual smart guys here including yourself and that 'Killer' guy. I'll get the build thread up in a week or two and name names...

i'm in!

Blown353 01-26-2011 12:36 PM

Luke, do you know what pump module their new VaporWorx tanks use and what the flowrate vs. psi specs are? I'm looking for a new setup to fuel my twin turbo LS2 that doesn't suck air below 1/2 tank as my current Rock Valley tank with an external pump does.

I know the tank design with OEM module & venturi pickups works great but I'm more concerned if the specific module used will be adequate for my application in terms of flowrate.

I know the tank design with OEM module & venturi pickups works great but I'm more concerned if the specific module used will be adequate for my application in terms of flowrate.

The pump module that they designed the tank is GM P/N 19208719. 2010 LS3 Camaro.

There are other modules available from Fastlane or ADM pumps for higher horsepower applications. The module will also require a fuel pressure regulator from an LS1 4th gen. Delphi P/N FP100211B1 or equivalent.

The specs for flow rate are:
Output pressure: 58psi.
Output volume @ 58psi/13.5v: 200LPH.
Horsepower capacity: 655HP @ 13.5V with a BSFC of 0.5.
Output volume @ 58psi/14.7v: 260lph.
Venturi performance: Effective to 45psi. Below 45psi the venturi pumps cannot keep up with the pressure pump output.

We are offering the Vaporworx tanks for $1300 w/ free shipping.
