Car looks great. Love the Hugger Orange.

Hugger Orange looks slick Zach - nice paint. Awesome setup. Hope it comes together on time - jaws will be dropping at the Riddlesperger household.

check this page.
http://www.hanksvillehotrods.com/Pro...0/Default.aspx Mines the red 69 same setup as yours. They did 3" pipes that exit behind the axle. All mandrel bent. |
Your exhaust looks great. Thanks for the help. I have to install the engine and t56 in the next week, and then exhaust will go in. I guess I can buy the MAgnaflow X pipe kit and see where it fits the best.

Glad to help. Just a note, there is no x pipe kit, I just got the magnaflow xpipe and used flowmaster mandrel s bends to get to the headers. The shop did the pipes from the x back. |
screw flowmasters...go open headers lol

The car looks great.

Thanks Guys. Need kick in the ass and about a week of nothing but playing with teh car to get a little further

Started wiring the car today. Big block going in tomorrow, maybe have in running as soon as I figure out gas tank. Should I run a stainless tank, like a Rick's or just run a fuel cell. What is everybody's thought on the look of a fuel cell hanging down. The 20 gallon I have looks a little big, will have to cut the cross member to get it in the trunk. Need ideas?
Hopefully wheels will be here soon. Wiring looks like a tough one, painless has a plug for the orginal gauge cluster; however, I am running Auto meters. |
radiator Issue 1968 camaro
Just installed the BBC today, looks good. Wish I could hear it run. I tried to put the radiator in; however, the BBC with Vintage air front runner the Be Cool cooling module will not fit. DSE is saying that they will get me the 1000 hp module and return this one but I will still have to modify the core support. Anybody out there that already done this and can send info. Sucks the radiator will not work from Be cool.

Engine is in, T56 Magnum is in and rear wheels come in Wednesday. Still need to run brake lines, any pictures would help and finish the wiring for the big stuff. At least most everything is purchased now! |
Looks right at home in there. Good job.

Looks like we are not going to be able to make the LoneStar show this weekend, but we are closer to having a ride to take the kids to shows in, here you go. The ride height still needs to be adjusted.
T56 Magnum is in, it starts, rolls, we are getting closer... Zach Attachment 29391 Attachment 29392 Attachment 29393 Attachment 29394 Attachment 29395 Attachment 29396 |

Great car! You have to be getting really excited by now!!
|
Looking real good.
Hope to see some vids and hear that big block roar once you start cruisin. |
Thanks guys. I am going out in the shop and starting it two or three times a day. Sad I guess? But I am ready to take the first cruise in it. I need brake lines, driveshaft, and finish the wiring. I may forgo the Lonestar show and work on the car this weekend. There will always be other shows... Boy I must be ate up with it. Thanks again. I have a lot of work left, but it is fun. I will be a great surprise for my two boys and wife. I have another 69 hull SS 396 4 speed car to have them help with the next one.

The Be cool radiator fits awesome with the big block and Vintage air front runner. Dse has the stance down on their products, awesome quality and 335 fit great. I need to adjust the stance some, but want to get it driving to test turning radius before keeping where it is currently. We have monthly Whataburger car shows, hope to have the car going by???? I am hopeful it will happen soon; however, I have a lot to go. Interior, any ideas on how many hours to put it together as factory, carpet, door panels, and recover rear seat.

SHould have brake lines and wiring done within a few week or so. Installed Lokar throttle and cables today. It is almost ready for interior.
