Steve do you know what the total weight savings over steel is for the panels that you have?

Ron in SoCal 11-03-2011 06:28 PM

^ IIRC, it's about 110 lbs. Not bad...

110lbs for just the fenders w/extensions, valance and header panel? No offence, but that doesn't seem right. Maybe with the hood I could see 110lbs, but that is not included.
Maybe we could get some exact numbers from the manufacturer.

I'm going over my notes from when I picked mine up and it looks like your biggest weight savings comes from the hood at 43 lbs which unfortunately doesn't look like it is included in the sale. The 2 fenders will save you 34 lbs. Header panel will save you 2.5 lbs. Lower valance will save you 8 lbs. Fender extensions will save you 4 lbs.

None taken Sir. I was only going off memory from another post on PT, including the hood (which was a brain fart on my part).

^ Gaetano knows!

Thanks for the numbers Gaetano. I didn't know exactly what they were.

No prob. Wish I had the extra cash laying around, I'd take them off your hands.
