Say good-bye to the 80's

Here's a current project I we are doing now for a client in Wyoming. It's the typical story, he always wanted a Camaro- but once he bought it, he realized how bad a 40 year old car drives!

We are transforming it using the usual suspects- Speedtech, ATS, Rushforth Wheels, Hotchkis suspension, and Nitto tires

enjoy:D

Very clean car. Your customer is going to be stoked. I am curious, can you tell me what the difference between the Speed Tech control arms is as opposed to Global West?

His hometown is full of two lane twisties- I'm taking it home to him in May- I don't know what is going to be cooler- when he first lays eyes on it or throws it into some curves:unibrow:

Man that thing looks good. It looks like Bilstien shocks on the rear, how does the car ride with the shocks and dropped leafs? Are the wheels 18x9.5s on the rear? What size tires did you end up with on the front and rear?
Oh yeah the 80s was a pretty fun time!

LowchevyII 04-16-2011 11:43 AM

You said it. Killer stance Chris. Great job man.
What color is that car? Looks killer.

youthpastor 05-13-2011 06:36 PM

In Denver tonight

I delivered the car to Jackson, WY a few days back...were it snowed!

The owner is thrilled

We finished it up last week with a trick exhaust and a million other details. He is already planning on having some more work done next winter. If you goto my facebook- chris holstrom, you can see the quick dyno run.

here's a pic from yesterday- I had to raise the front a little, tires were too close...hope it settles a littlehttp://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...roFinished.jpg

I'm picking up a 72 Firebird in Ft Collins in the morning for a PT makeover- stay tuned!

89 RS 05-14-2011 12:18 PM

Looks sweet and sure it performs just as good! Great work man, and I'm sure the owner was pretty happy.

tommycomfort 05-16-2011 02:15 PM
