Project: WicKeD 67 Camaro
 

Thought I would Take some time to post my build and a few pics. I have owened this car since 96 and over the years just messed around with it from time to time. The last few years I have really sunk loads of cash in her and was on my way to finishing it up. I found out a few months back that Im going to be a new dad! So the wife wants me to do what I need to do to finish it up before Oct...... With a New baby on the way and saving to build our first house im trying to put just the right amount of money in the car with out getting mama to mad :D Here are a few pics of the car and Ill post more as soon as I get them. The car has a 396 bb, was wanting to build a 502 but with the new news of a little one looks like ill keep the 396 for a few years. I did manage to get a new Magnum 6 speed ordered. Now its time to take the car apart and do a few last things before paint.

Make sure to budget for a Recaro baby seat for good WAF :lol:

Update: Installed Magnum T56 this weekend. Havent had a chance to take her for a test drive due to the rain ALL weekend! oh well cant rain all the time.....

What a week! My new baby wanted to come visit us 4 days early and I finaly got the camaro painted! Now that the baby is here not sure how much ill get done, but maybe ill get out and get things together when she is sleeping..... Even thought I couldnt wait to get the car painted.... she is going to get all my free time!

Congratulations on the new Daughter!! Spend as much time as possible as she will be asking for the keys sooner then ya think.. Color on the Camaro and paint job looks great.. The new baby will mostly sleep and eat - kinda sorta.. work between baby naps.. lol

I am really interested in getting the Lokar shifter boot for my 68 camaro, but I am not sure how to tackle this, whether to drill holes through the carpet or cut a piece from the carpet close to the size of the boot ring?

I would appreciate it if you post photos illustrating the Lokar boot installation.

@ 72Z/28 The Lokar Boot didnt come with Installation guide. Im going to drill holes threw the carpet... at least thats the plan.. Ill post pics on what way I do it.

That is pretty cool for a plate. I got this one for my 66 Chevelle Malibu in CT and my dad just got the same plate for his 66 GTO in MO.

Maiden voyage!
 

Wow where dose time Go! almost two years and its 99% done, just waiting on a few things to come in the mail. Took her out for a drive for its maiden voyage since paint and some upgrades. Felt Really good to drive it around even if it was short. Here are some Crap cell phone photos ill get better one next time...

It's been 2 years GTFO?? That car looks great!!! How's the lil one, is she all grown up yet ;)??

Lol she is growing like a weed! Its been a long time but wouldnt change the time I spent with her instead of the time it took in the garage. Have a 4 link and speed tech sub to put in but that will wait till this winter... Right Now I just want to CRUZE!!!!!

even though I didnt build this car for car shows I figured that untill I can get a few more upgrades to make this bbc handle turns better I would just do a few for the fun of it, so I went to a local show this past sunday and I won the top award! Everyone seemed to love the car and lot of positive feedback was given! There was over 150 cars and I had a huge smile when they called my name.
