Nice deals. I need a set of track rims. I guess I better start buying lotto tix!
Fikse does great work.

Getting a lot of interest off the forums and guys saving a lot of money. If you are mini tubbed this is a no brainer. For guys with factory tubs, you can get a set of custom 3 piece wheels for a couple buck more than a finished set of 2 piece!

RENN SCHNELL 05-11-2011 09:01 AM

What is the lead time for a set of FM5 18" front and 19" rear, same sizes and backspace as the Red Devil?

JustinB 05-11-2011 09:28 AM

When I spoke with Fikse last week, they were running right around 6 weeks. With the sale, I know there will be large amount of orders going in so the 6 week turnaround might turn into 7. Either way it is pretty much on point with just about every other wheel manufacture.

Tom.A 05-14-2011 12:18 AM

That's a good deal for a Fikse wheel. I know I paid more for mine.

Even though I don't have the Chevelle yet, I am getting in on this deal. I will call you Monday.

JMitch19 05-15-2011 10:47 PM

As long as my Budnik's sell I will be in on this as sell.

NOPANTS68 05-16-2011 12:41 PM

Couldn't pass this deal up! Thanks again Jon.

Rybar 05-16-2011 12:50 PM

For anybody that has purchased Fikse wheels before should know that this is a killer deal!! :wow: If I didn't have mine already I would have been all over this deal in a heartbeat. Great Deal DriverzInc.

DriverzInc 05-16-2011 01:09 PM

YES, Still on!

Has the payment terms changed for Fikse? Last time I got a quote they wanted 50% up front and 50% when the start machining them? This is a strange policy in the industry. Normally it's 50% to start the order and 50% when the order ships?

This makes me nervous about placing an order and the fact that they're located in a different country can makes things difficult as well.

DriverzInc 06-06-2011 11:11 AM

Renn,
We take a 50% deposit up front to secure the order, and then we charge the remaining balance when Fikse calls and says they are done. That's our policy...

Justin , can you tell me the difference in classic FM5 & profil5 ?

also the rim style and finish on SWs 69..

JustinB 06-30-2011 02:42 PM

The difference is in the "bowl" around the lugs. Here is some detail pics the show the difference. From the pics, SW's wheels look to be "face polished", but it's hard to tell.

The Profil 5

The Classic FM5

Fikse should pay you commission. I've wanted to place an order for a while now and just couldn't decide to pull the trigger. I saw your build over on LS1Tech and called Jon and placed my order the next day. Your build is really impressive. I'm over by Grand Rapids. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person at some car event around MI sometime.

GrabberGT 07-19-2011 10:14 AM

I sure wish I could just make a decision on what size I want to go with and place an order. This looks like a phenomenal deal.

Do I want 17-18 or 18-19. Can I fit 275-325 and if so do I really want it? Do I want it bad enough to go ahead and place the order and make the mods to make it fit later? Oh the pressure! :wow:
