Nice Chevelle. Welcome to the forum.
W.

nitrorocket 01-24-2006 07:35 PM

The motor is a Twin Turbo 347" ls1 with stock pcm and a turbo 400 trans. It is an 8:1 compression motor and I amm currently running 15 psi on 93 octane till spring. Makes roughly 900 hp right now. It has 4 wheel disc brakes and 315/35/17's in the back. I did all the work myself, right down to building the motor, headers, and intercooler.

Hey Nitro -
Welcome to the site.
Your Chevelle is awesome and the amount of work/fabrication you did personally is very cool. :)

Payton King 01-25-2006 08:56 AM

very slick

I bet that car will roll on down the road.

Are you using a truck intake?

markss28 01-25-2006 09:07 AM

Very nice Absolutly my Fav chevelle. Love the stance. Just looks mean.

Im thinking about buying one for my wife, atleast she'll think its hers.

rwhite692 01-25-2006 11:46 AM

Very nice!

nitrorocket 01-25-2006 03:40 PM

Thanks for all the compliments! I am pretty proud that I did all the work myself. I always ge asked whos turbo kit it is, or who built the motor. I did! :unibrow:

The car is insane to drive. It is alot of fun to drive and gets decent mileage to boot!

The intake is an LS6 intake from a 2001+ ls1

B Schein 01-25-2006 04:22 PM

Cool Car I was looking at your turbo headers a while ago over on LS1 tech.
That is a different approach running the down pipes over the wheel wells.

nitrorocket 01-25-2006 04:32 PM

With a Chevelle, that is the only place to rout them if not using a motor plate. The crossmember is in the way. It worked out well. I have no problems.

B Schein 01-25-2006 04:54 PM

I am not that familiar with Chevells. I was wondering about the under hood temps but is seems that it is not a problem.

Ummgawa 01-26-2006 08:41 PM

Awesome car man!! That is a very well thought out ride and a Chevelle to boot! Nice work.
