Ironworks Hauler is East bound for Colorado Goodguys.

Well the big truck left yesterday on the way to Colorado. It was loaded down with 5 cars and a bunch of stuff. It has the new logo on the side and a brand new set of tires.

EAST Bound and Down.

We even were able to fit the packard in the back of the truck. It sits a little higher then most of our projects but the rear floor section is adjustable.

Come check it out this weekend at the Goodguys show in Colorado.

Kick ass Rodger! Logo looks great!! Congrats!!

RPM HOTRODS 06-01-2011 06:39 AM

BALLER!!!! I wish I had a truck driver. Heck I had to haul horse last week in mine to pay for it. Next you'll be in Nascar. AH, just kiddin looks killer man. Its a pain loading isn't it? Work Work Work thats all we do!!!! Can't wait to see it in person.

ironworks 06-01-2011 06:54 AM

It is amazing how much stuff I can put in the truck. 1 tri-5 frame, 1 67 camaro, one 67 Chevelle chassis, one 1955 Goodguys giveaway car, and one huge 1946 Packard. Plus a bunch of other crap.

Yesterday I got a phone call from a magazine editor that was headed to LA from Las Vegas and he saw the truck going the other way. I thought that was pretty cool.

I just wish I could get custom apportioned license plates that said "SOMEDAY". :D

Any chance that bad boy will keep rolling East to GG Columbus????

ironworks 06-01-2011 07:00 AM

Yes Sir, we leave in 3 weeks for Des Moines and then Columbus.

pokey64 06-01-2011 07:58 AM

I'll look you guys up in Des Moines.

Well my dream would be a black long nose pete with big chrome stacks pulling a long black trailer with probably the same logo on it. But the flames sure do get attention. On of my employee's and his dad are driving the truck currently and have told me it is like a car show where ever they stop. Most people could care less what's inside the trailer. The paint on the truck is not perfect and it does not need to be to serve it's purpose. But I might look at fixing some of those issues and slowing fixing it up some more. The truck came from South Carolina and has some small surface rust issues here and there. But as you can tell it is a really nice truck.

We should have a new awning canvas before Columbus.

Cris@JCG 06-01-2011 08:20 AM

Looks great Rdger! Congrates on the rig..

Stuart Adams 06-01-2011 08:42 AM

Looks great. Glad you are having fun big boy.

CRCRFT78 06-01-2011 09:19 AM

I would seriously consider quitting my job to drive a rig like that across country. Everything at work has always been old and beat by the time I got to drive it. Beautiful rig & trailer Rodger.

Mr. Baller. Just ask him how he's getting to Colorado.....if you can even get hold of him. First the publicist then the assistant, he'll call you back, blah blah blah, here's some gap spray...goodby. Now with this TLC thing I don't think he'll be posting much more.

Rodger, if you can read this, the truck came out nice.

coolwelder62 06-01-2011 11:47 AM

I'm just traveling with a local customer out to Colorado in the early am tomorrow. As a matter of fact it's a customer and fellow lat-g member who happens to enjoy Italian food like myself. :D

It's "okay"..... if that's what you're in to.

Don't get too used to the "jet set" style DB.... lest the rest of us can't hang with you and the big baller lifestyle.

I can't wait to see these pics!..... Apparently, several Lat-g members (Mr. Weld, Mr. War,....) know how Rodger is getting to Colorado. He is "on his way" as I write this. I'm sure Rodger will post pics soon.

I did hear from Rodger that the Ironworks Hauler arrived at the Goodguys event site early evening yesterday.

Can he even fit in that thing? Looks like he would have to crawl on his belly to get to his seat. Should have bought the G6.

I heard the jet mechanics had to add a "Gurney Bubble" so Rodger could sit in a seat.

Well it was pretty cool. We left bako at about 6am and landed at loveland's little airport at just after 9 am mountain time. 2 hours of flight time. I wanted to thank my customer for allowing us to arrive in style. And in a super conveinent manner. Hopefully you enjoy your first goodguys show this weekend. Good luck in the autocross with my camaro. Dont get beat by a girl.
