got any parts for the nomad your bringing to sell?;)

GregWeld 07-12-2011 10:52 PM

Nope. I rarely sell anything. Just use the stuff on some other project. Sold a couple of fuel injection units this last year - and that's probably the first time I've actually sold any parts in a very long time.

66 mustang 07-16-2011 12:58 PM

Is there anything going on Friday night? Any recommendations on a nice hotel to stay in close by? Thanks

70rs 07-16-2011 01:26 PM

If you look at the left side of his page - it lists hotels/motels... and shows you a map of their locations.

GoodGuys website -- under EVENTS -- will let you see the activities and hours etc of each day. Friday the fairgrounds are open @ 8AM.... and there's drag racing out at SIR (old name).

19sixtynine 07-19-2011 11:14 AM

Ya, I'm planning on going. It's the first Good Guys show i've been able to attend so I'm pretty stoked!

Wear a bib. There will be a bit of drooling over some of the cars. Like Gregs 32 and Chris' red first gen just to name a couple.

Well dang! Sorry I wasn't there when you came by!

This was the first time I actually walked the whole show two or three times... the weather was so beautiful I couldn't help myself.

66 mustang 07-26-2011 09:02 AM

No problem...it will have to wait another year

GregWeld 07-26-2011 11:48 AM

So after spending a couple hundred grand at Steve Frisbees Auto Restoration (AKA: SAR) she's finally all "customized" and finished. Just in time for the Puyallup Good Guys Show 2011.

JOKING of course -- but it was hilarious to see this rod cruise by and he even parked in our "camp".

Here's our camp.... The black 56 is my buddies BBC with 8 stacks and a pic of the 90*'d butterfly is included here. Then there's my '56 Nomad in the background - my buddies '32 Ford - and mine....

And the <drum roll> bent butterfly!

I saw that rod and meant to ask you about it.......you start a side business? :D

19sixtynine 07-27-2011 08:53 PM

Hey Eric and Greg, it was great meeting both of you and getting to spend time talking and checking out the infamous '32. My son and I had a BLAST and I could not get over the sheer volume of beautiful cars there! I'm definitely putting this on my "to-do" list every year now!

Thanks for meeting up with us Eric, you've got a great family and I look forward to seeing you at future shows. And Greg, please thank your sister for offering up sunblock for my son, luckily I came prepared but it was so sweet of her to offer.

Take care guys and have fun at the Kirkland show Greg, not sure i'll be able to make that one.

Robert

Was nice to meet you too Robert! Glad you made the effort to stop by our little "camp"! If you make Kirkland on Sunday - don't hesitate to stop and chat - bring the future hot rodder - grab some water or beer and a chair.
