Oct. 5. The Camaro is on The Car Show
 

On Oct. 5 The Car Show hosted by Adam Carolla, Dan Neil, and Matt Farah will feature a muscle car segment. In the show will be Adam Driving the Hotchkis E-Max Challenger, Matt driving Julius' own personal Superbird (super cool car), and Dan Neil driving my Camaro.

The in-studio filming took place a few weeks ago with the Superbird front-and-center on stage. It looked awesome under the studio lights. The studio audience, and those of us lucky enough to be invited into the Avocado Room for the filming, got to see the rough-cut of the on-track footage taken on the Big Track at Willow Springs. It was very cool to see these three cars out on the track together. How often does anyone get to see a genuine Superbird on a road course going fast?

So tune in next Wednesday @ 10:00pm EDT to the Speed Channel to see some pretty cool footage of old iron at work.

I never miss that show. Better than Top Gear and twice as funny. What I can't understand is, I know Adam Carolla (spelling?) did the Man Show and a few other things before this but nothing major. The guy must have invested his money well b/c he has some sweet rides in his garage. I will definitly be watching!!

Car looked great out there Carl! Somebody needs to send Corolla to Skip Barber. How the hell do you accidentally downshift from 4th to 2nd.

So THAT'S what happened. We never heard what caused that "ooops" when everyone came back to Streets "base camp" and just saw the wheel with dirt all over the car.

Very cool show but would have liked to see more track action from you three.

Agreed, but that's Hollywood. When they said both old and new muscle in a 30 minute show, there's no way to have more than a few minutes of track time for each group.

Still, it's pretty cool to see the Camaro on TV!

Looked good...even though Corolla is a tool,I certainly wouldn't let him drive my cars.

I think the show went from 1 hour to a 1/2 hour. Maybe four host was to much.

Although Salley never really had much to add, I liked him there. Haven't gotten used to the empty seat yet. Seems like something is missing.

We should start a poll to see who we want to see fill his spot.

Caught a glimpse up here on my mule deer hunt in the middle of nowhere via dish. They had it on when we got here.

Watched it tonight. That Camaro is hands down my favorite on the episode and it sounded fantastic from the short little clips they showed. I'm sure the reaction from Dan was pretty realistic- we're talking about an LS with screws up top lol.

BTW- Corolla explains how he went into second gear on accident. He was on the limiter in 3rd and pulled it down into the wrong gate. Unfarmiliar car, short throw shifter, razor edge suspension- he's human too.
