Great car. Engine just rebuilt by Tony Oddo. http://www.toeperf.com/aboutus.htm . Jerico 4 speed, rack and pinion steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, fire bottle etc. This car is sorted and trouble free, makes sound at Laguna Seca, show quality paint etc. Stielow and Jody have driven it and can attest to just how well this car works. .. SOLD

Killer car. How much hp?

clill 10-01-2011 03:22 PM

I think it is right at 520 hp. I have the dyno sheet somewhere.

camcojb 10-01-2011 03:56 PM

dang it, I want that car. Good luck Charley. That car is a lot of fun, Mark and I had a ball with it. It's a great track car for a novice or a pro.

clill 10-01-2011 07:17 PM

Actually where the hell is Greg Weld ? This would be perfect. Easy to start out slow and go faster as you learn.

coolwelder62 10-04-2011 03:56 PM

Charley,Can Greg aford a car like this.:D

GregWeld 10-05-2011 01:57 PM

Scott -- No I can't.... :unibrow:

I'm a hot rodder not a track guy.

And a semi-pro scorekeeper! :D

Stielow 10-05-2011 04:08 PM

This is a great car and a blast to drive! I passed so many cars in the Mustang we lost track. Jody and I were laughing so hard we almost stopped. If I had the loose cash now I would purchase it for my girlfriend Laura to keep her out of my Camaro.

Good grip, nice to drive lots of power the Jeroco is a blast. This car is selling for well less than half of what it would cost to build.

Mark

you'll love the car Greg. It's fast and completely sorted. You get comfortable in it real fast. Plus it's one of the nicest track cars I've seen, very nice paint, great parts.

GregWeld 10-06-2011 08:45 AM

Thanks Jody -- I saw the car at Charleys this summer... and you're right -- the paint is like show quality. He doesn't know it yet, but I stole it from him! HAHAHAHA

Now if I just knew how to drive.... but we digress... As Charley just told me "everyone started as a beginner". Pretty true statement.

I just asked Charley if I could reach the pedals! If he and Jody can drive it -- it will need a minor remodel for me!

I figure.... lower the dash... lower the wheel.... scoot seat forward a foot.... and raise it... a 2X4 duct taped to the loud pedal...

skatinjay27 10-06-2011 12:38 PM

so are you gonna have it shipped home first or just straight to a shop to get a full re-do!!!!!!!!

I've done the ZO6 experience (3 day) at Bondurant and the ZO6's at Spring Mountain... I totally get how addictive it is... and how much fun it is! I almost bought one of the fox body mustangs Bondurant was selling when they switched to Chevrolet - and have kicked myself ever since for passing that opportunity.

I think this is WAY too much car for me... but couldn't pass it up. I've seen it - and it's too nice not to grab! Now I'll just have to not embarrass myself more than I already have.....

I was looking at the safety requirements for the Northern California Shelby Club Thunderhill event... and noticed that I had to have cotton pants (long) in Yellow, Red and Green.... Also a long sleeve cotton shirt - same colors..... and a 4 point harness in Green....

Immediately I'm on the horn with Rodger Lee asking why I'd have to have a seat belt in Green - like WTF difference that would make?? And were was I going to find cotton pants in Yellow, Red and Green.... look like a GD Eyetallian flag out there! Sheesh!!!

Then I'm emailing Charley about the color of the harness.....

RING RING -- Cell phone is going.... belly laughter on the other end so I know it's Charley.... Calling me to tell me what a dumbass newb I am....

Rodger probably was going to call but he had to go home and get clean shorts.... he probably laughed so hard...

 :willy: :woot:

Flash68 10-06-2011 06:10 PM

Good for you Greg. You're just trying to get a leg up at Thunderhill in anticipation of a RTTx event there in 2012... good thinking. :unibrow:

Hey, Charley says it's good to go for Laguna Seca -- come join us on Dec 31st down there... you don't party on NYE anymore anyway.

Thanks Dave!

As it looks now -- we'll be in Phoenix watching Adrienne's boyfriend play football (He's a Cardinal) on New Years day.... otherwise I'd consider it.
