New guy from Norcal project "Garfield"
some of you guys have seen me on Pro-Touring been a member there for a bit and have been lurking here so I decided to join.the look of this car will be drastically changed here in the next year or two to reflect more of the "pro-touring" look. I am planning on ditching the two tone paint in favor of an all Orange paint job. changing the wheels for something in a flat finish and have some ideas on the interior to help play on the outer color scheme.this is project "Garfield" my soon to be ALL Orange 67 cougar.

New paint buddy? The paint has barley dried on the car now....
What are the specs on your wheels? Do the T4 calipers clear the wheels without spacers? jeff |

Torino 420 do you have a build thread on your car? was kind of curious as to what you used for a block on your big/Small block build.

Sounds good, loud even for Spintechs :D

yeah im not sure which mufflers they sold me. they are a full size muffler not the tiny race ones. I asked for something comparable to my two chamber flowmasters and they said these were 100db quieter. the exhaust is long tube headers with 3" going into the X and 2-1/2 from there all the way out the back.
hopefully I will get a chance to ditch those longtubes soon, but the car hasnt been on the road in years and thats the goal as of right now! |
It's about time for an update on this cat.:D Are you going to get it on the track before my car or not:rofl:

as some of you know, ive had my front suspension woes because of doing things in different stages= compatibility issues! Maier racing is suppose to release some LCA's that will solve my current suspension problem.
I have told myself I will not go any further with the car till the suspension is Ironed out, due to the fact I want to make sure the funds are there whether It cost me $500.00 or it cost $10k because I sell off the current setup and start over. I have been very sick the past few weeks and now have "walking pneumonia" and my child is due any day now! look for an update after the first of the year, but as luck would have it, im on track to being able to afford the DSE aluma frame setup without braking the bank!! |
Well, I hope you start feeling better and everything turns around for you. Good luck and congrats on the new child.
