Dirt? Soil in that part of the world is more like moon dust. Only place I've seen rain create a dust storm.

How about a little background on the car and the customer. The car looks like it has a few nice parts on it already. I'd trip if I spotted that sucker running down the road in Kuwait!

Jr 11-13-2011 10:33 PM

Cool build. What kind of supercharger?

Vince@Meanstreets 11-14-2011 12:41 AM

might want to design a water bath/hepa air filter system for that engine. sounds like another cool build.

Did I read right? Only 10 miles on that 572?!?:_paranoid

Cris@JCG 11-14-2011 09:54 PM

The pics are as the car came off the container.. plus they did not strap down the car right.. The straps snapped & the car was moving in the container.. Plus 5 weeks in transit... She be a bit dirty!

The car was found in Kuwait in the mid 80's & a shop tried to do the work but was never able to get it right.. So the car sat for many years.. Then the car went to West Coast Customs in Dubai.. but were never were able to reach an agreement on the work their.. The owner contacted me after he found out that I was doing a 70 Chevelle for a friend of his.. The car has some nice components but now wants to step it up a bit.. He wants a Muscle Car that can keep up with some exotics he has in fleet of cars..

I have weekly conversation with my two customers from Kuwait & have been informed that Muscle cars are big their...

Tony- It is our goal on the ride height.. 20x12 on 345-30-20 for the rear & 19x10 295-35-19 if they have it for the front..

Cris@JCG 11-15-2011 06:54 PM

Thanks Curtis! The owner asked for an estimate to re-build his 69 with upgraded suspension, LS supercharged, 6 speed, & etc.. When I gave him the estimate.. he asked for a rendering that would get him the warm fuzzy feeling on spending that kinda money.. I have always wanted to work with Carter Hickman & always liked the realistic veiws of his 69 renderings.. so I got my project approved today thanks to Carter's Rendering.. Motor approved & ordering the rest in the next few weeks...

Looks awesome Chris!! You realize you already set the bar for what you did on the 68. Look forward to seeing this one come together! No doubt it will be a killer!

72Z/28 11-17-2011 10:19 AM

Gonzo this is an awesome rendering really like the color and the stance. This is going to be exciting to watch. I am from Qatar, not far away from Kuwait. I wish I could afford sending my camaro to get it properly built :D

Cris@JCG 11-17-2011 04:06 PM

Here is my version of what I would like the car built to on the colors & trim..
Carter hit it dead on the nail for me!

The owner will be looking @ having trim & bumpers in original finishes... The stripes will be silver with matching centers on the wheels...

Cris@JCG 11-17-2011 04:16 PM

Brent- Thank you sir! I have few new ideas on the engine compartment for this one.. I am very excited about this build.. Mast LS7 supercharged! I luv these engines... If all goes well.. I should have a LS7 for my 70 Z by next week..

Cris@JCG 11-18-2011 08:56 AM

If it were up to me.. Silver would be my color.. It happens to be my favorite color for a 69.. but the car has an owner that the dark gray is the color he wants...
