Whats an X22? Did they make Super Sports out of Norwood without a tach in the dash and mono leafs? Cowl tag seems to be in great shape.

I was looking for a 69 shell,But not that far gone.:_paranoid

Looks like its from Jacques Cousteau's collection.

So I found out X22's were Super Sports with big blocks and blacked out tail pans.

No blacked out tail pan on that car and has anybody ever seen a big block car with mono leafs?

Ouch! that thing is a hurtin unit!

I wondered why one side of it was totally rotted out and saw once I got thru all of the pics. That's just wrong to sit a car on its side and leave it for so many years.

It's at $2200 with 2 days left.

It looks to me like the tail pan was black, but the mono leaf argument is out of my league. looks like it had a hockey stripe too.

SS also had the two piece rear brake line with the metering block, which that one has.

After another look it does look like the tail pan may have had some black just from looking at the top of the pan where the lid closed. Seen the hockey stripe outline also. There was only one mono leaf so maybe the multi leafs were removed.


I seen that on the subframe.

What I was a little leary about was how good the cowl tag looked after all these years being exposed to the weather.

So if the motor and trans is gone, who cares what it was?

Unless you're going to do the VIN swap boogie...

Do you think the paint can be buffed out?

That is a big block heater box and the left side dual exhaust hanger is there. The mono leaf throws a wrench into the works,maybe it's a multi leaf with the other leaves removed?

everything looks legit. if you read the story the driveline went into a nova, maybe those are the monos off the nova

Totally agree. It was at $2200 last I looked and the reserve was not met. Without original motor, trans, etc. whats the point.

I'm sure someone is after the tag, vin, and title.

I hope whoever buys it crushes it and puts it out of it's misery.

It has a very interesting story to it. It had laid up on it's side in the woods since the early 70s. Man what a shame!

They must have found the title in the glove box.:unibrow:
