I have been around the site showing very slow updates on the Welcome side. I Thought I would move to the project Update side. I changed the name because I am not going to paint it green anymore.

I already have Speedtech upper and lower control arms.
Right stuff detailing brakes and lines.
Covan Dash with comp gauges
Pypes exhaust.
Boss 338 Wheels and tires.
Autowire electrical which I already put together.
New inner and outer tie rods with Speedtech tie rod connectors.
Rebuilt 400 motor with D-port ram air exhaust.
I have my Tremec 5 speed
10 bolt with a 3.42 rear
Front and rear disc brakes
New gas tank and sender with new fuel lines.
Now if I can only get the metal work done. I could put the car back together

I love my new 350 hood with the new hood scoop. Went with metal instead of fiber glass. Didn't want to have the hood scoop crack later down the road. Yes, it is functional. Work was done by Dave at Fabx.

That hood is very cool

Wow, I've never seen a 350 hood look so good before! Sweet build. I can really relate to having to fix up a rusty bird.

Thanks! I wish I could take credit for making the scoop for the hood, but I can't. :(
The best part of the hood is it will function as a rear cool air intake. I am not making the hole until the engine is in place.

Installed. It was easier than I thought. Took a lot of time, measuring and adjustments.

Thanks for the comments and advice. I am very backwards when it comes to doing things the 1st time. I didn't have them then but I have them now.

I like it. I have done similar project to my own GTO. Looking forward to updates as they come along.
