What are Vendors Thinking?? (WTF)
I got involved about a vendor on a earlier post and i paid 7000.00 dollars back in Oct..The order was cancelled and i have not seen any cash. It has been since Mon (i even offered him 500.00 for his trouble) and no cash has been returned to my PAYPAL acct. I paid by bank wire, when i paid. How long does it usually take before cash is returned? Or am i holding my breath for nothing?
Thanks in advance Wes |
How did the vendor say they were refunding you the money? Have them fax or email you a copy of the transaction. If a credit was put onto a credit card it could take 5-7 days to show on your statement.

Supposed to be paypal...he did not want to do C.C... i guess ill wait some more?.. Wes

You should of had it by now. Have them show you the money pulled from their account. Print screen whatever they can prove if they won't do that they are lying. Then take that $ 500.00 you were talking about book a plane flight and show up at their office.

If you did the transaction through PayPal you should get a confirmation email within 48 hours. If not I would call PP and ask them if there is a transaction still in transit. If they can't divulge that info then I would put it on the dealer to show you some sort of proof that the refund has actually taken place.
Remember, this is the same person that told you he had already placed the order so don't just take his word for it that it actually happened. Factual proof is what is needed for you to call the dogs off. BTW wire transfers shouldn't take more than a day to complete...... John |

Cash return
Yenko
Lets be clear on what happened, if I understand it. You wired the funds to the vendor. All wires have an audit report. If this is what you did you need the instructions you gave the bank or if they gave you a receipt you need this. PayPal, and the adivce to talk to them is worthless. They only move money. If you requested it back by paypal the vendor can give you the transfer number.... if not you are being jerked around and need to prove you transferred the money. The vendor can try to claim they did not get it but wires transfer have federal standards to prove it. I would get that proof, fax to the vendor and say pay or I will sue. Sorry to be so direct but this is not a Paypal issue.... if this started in Oct you are getting the shaft |
If the vendor wouldn't do credit card and instead wanted a wire transfer that right there should be a huge red flag.
Post the name of the vendor!!!! |

I am not sure though if Yenco is meaning C...C. as certified check or credit card. Don't do Certified check, because it takes about 3 weeks to clear. Credit card be useless because the sale was back in October. Well, it depends if he carries a balance. Jeff |

Now Im not sure how an international order would work. Maybe in Australia they cant take our cards? |

I have used my Credit Cards all over the world, but some companies don't do credit cards. So you don't think this is a legimate company? http://www.harrop.com.au/auto.php The cool thing about buying in Australia is the exchange rate. Well, the rate changes daily, so it cost less for me. So if you used a CC, then that 3% might end up being around 13%. Although, the safe way to transfer money is to do a bank to bank wire transfer. Jeff |

So What is the Update?
Yenko did they return the money? Did you go to your bank to giet the wire transfer instructions and confirmation of receipt? Again just because he is refunding thru PayPal your challenge will be to prove transfer (easy with a wire) and get your money or sue (for $7000 I would have already filed)

I'm going to close this one for now, the OP hasn't been here for over a week. The vendor of issue is not a site vendor here. Wes, if you have anything to add let me know.
